Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive.

If you are on a cruise or staying at an island resort and would like our help to secure a taxi from port to our boat, let us know!
Cruisers who need time or activity adjustments to work with their group and ship times, it may be better to book a private boat or contact Aqua marine directly. We may be able to accommodate your changes (based on availability).

Check-in at Aqua Marine Dive CENTER (at Saga Haven Marina) 30 MIN before the start of your excursion for gear fitting and completion of needed paperwork. Before leaving the dock, the Captain will give a safety briefing after which you can relax for the 15 to 30 minute ride to the first dive site, while our crew provides valet service, setting up your gear and giving a short briefing about the dive destination. All divers are assisted with their gear and then helped to the back of the boat for the "giant stride" into the water. Each dive is up to an hour. After dive #1, the short surface interval will be spent enjoying some light snacks, water, and soda while the captain takes you to the next site. After dive #2, relax with the captains special punch in addition to more snacks for the ride back to the marina. (drinking age is 18+) Early morning boats are typically certified divers, while late morning and afternoon boats may be mixed activity boats with all levels of diving and snorkeling. 5.00From the time I arrived the team made me feel welcome and safe Dylan was my dive master, and he did a great job on the dive briefing, we had a wide range of skill levels in our group, but everyone got what they needed and wanted. The boat captain, a sweet woman from Austria worked harder than any boat captain I’ve experience during my 500+ dives she helped everyone in and out of the water and made sure the boat was safe for all onboard

5.00I had a WONDERFUL experience with such a great group of people. This was the first dive I had booked after my OW certification in Michigan and I was super nervous. My guide Louis was just fantastic! He made me feel safe and comfortable and helped me figure out how to operate my new dive watch. Our captain was Stephanie and she was wonderful as well. She stopped the boat when we heading out and we spotted a mama dolphin with her baby. Crew said it was only second time In 3 yrs they had seen dolphins so it was a beautiful moment for all of us. Can not recommend this crew highly enough, I known where I will return my next trip to St. Thomas! Thank you Louis!!

5.00We went on 2 amazing dives around Cow and Calf islands and saw so much wildlife, including a shark! Zack was an incredible guide and showed us so many great spots and plenty of pass throughs! Tommy was a great captain and made sure we were safe from the surface! Cannot wait to dive with them again!
50 years of diving and Aqua Marine made it special.

5.00I have been Scuba Diving in the St. Thomas area since 1983 and all of my diving during the past 10 years have been with Aqua Marine Dive Center. They are the best dive shop I have ever worked with. This dive trip was a special one and they did everything to make my dives the best possible experience. I earned my Advanced Open Water Certification in 1976 in the Bahamas, so the dives last week was a special anniversary celebrating 50 YEARS with my Advanced Open Water Cert. Due to some medical events over the past two years, my strength and endurance is not what it used to be. We had Zach as our Dive Master for all of our dives. They knew my limitations and provided excellent service. I was able to get out of my BC and tank while in the water so I didn’t have to contend with the extra weight while exiting the water. In addition to my Dive Master, I also want to thank Tommy and Michelle (owners) who were so helpful in planning these special anniversary dives. Also a thanks to Stephanie for her assistance on my dives. Aqua Marine is definitely the best on St. Thomas and one of the best in the Caribbean.

5.00Abby, capt Dave, Dylan and Kelly were amazing. My 13-year-old daughter trained and was certified with Abby for her open water certification. Kelly and Dylan kept mom busy and captain dave was awesome. Diving around Epstein Island was great and we saw so many animals. Very professional crew, great snacks and punch 💯!

5.00Dylan and Abby were great today! They spotted octopus, moray eel, and the biggest lobster and crab I have ever seen. Capt David did a great job getting me there! I can’t recommend them enough!

5.00We had an awesome experience. The boat crew was fun got us in the water and to the next spot quickly. We a shark, eel and huge crab. They had waters, soda, snacks and rum pouch along with great music. Abby was our five master that took our group & made it a great experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10 recommendation!!

5.00We had a great time diving with Louis, Ben & Zach with Aqua Marine! Captain Steph and the entire crew were highly professional, knowledgeable and fun! Whether fixing our gear that unexpectedly malfunctioned or helping us in & out of the water they were truly accommodating. We especially enjoyed going to Calf & Cow. We saw so much interesting wildlife: arrows crabs, huge lobsters, a giant king crab, lots of butterflies and angels including gray & French angels. Visibility wasn’t ideal due to unusual windy weather but on the best days 60’ visibility. We especially appreciated that the morning dives had only certified divers so we were well matched with buddies with similar experience levels. They gave us personalized service not the usual “cattle boat” diving. For experienced divers I would highly recommend Aqua Marine! I’m sure they are equally accommodating for novices too. One tip: we found that their taxi service was overpriced and inconsistent, often late or slow to pick us up. If we had to do it over we’d just get taxis arranged by our hotel and save money and probably get better service.
