Great fun and learned a lot too

5.00We had a great time. We saw several dolphins and different species of birds. We learned pelicans had hollow bones and couldn’t dive deep because of their bone structure. The history of the light house, the barrier islands, the Civil war, the Forts and the different types of boats was spoken so interestingly I wanted to hear more. Our guides were both entertaining and very knowledgeable. Then the top rated restaurant on Tybee Island was right beside the Tiki boat rental. We had margaritas and great seafood.

3.00Unfortunately, despite two kind captains the weather was tough-cold and windy. However, I still thought there was a slight chance we’d see dolphins. But the minute all 14 of us were on the boat, the captain announced we wouldn’t be seeing any dolphins today due to the weather? Seems like something that didn’t need to be said unless you were sure aka avoided the areas they were in? We had 8 kids giving us the eye roll like why are we even here then?! The boat ride in the creek was nice but not worth $460! Would not recommend if weather is not perfect which is apparently what is needed to by chance see a dolphins.

4.00It was nice, but the weather dictated what we could do and it was a little disappointing that we didn’t get to go out on the ocean.Nevertheless, the captain and his first mate were excellent tour guides
