Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
This unique and sacred place is a must see place in Ubud. There are many wild life inside the thick forest. Walk along the path under the shade and see many birds, lizards, butterflies and monkeys among the trees. It is a perfect set for the real wild life. There are 3 sacred temples to balance this area. Local people usually come to pray on a special ceremony day.
Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

This turned out to be one of the best if not the best excursions we’ve ever experienced, and it was all because of Adhi. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and truly a joy to be around. I learned so much from him throughout the excursion. He also went above and beyond by providing complimentary water the entire time and even offering free WiFi in his car, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you’re planning to book this excursion, I highly recommend requesting Adhi as your driver and tour guide. He will absolutely elevate your experience.

5.00Our tour guide Adhi made this one of our best tours during my Bali birthday trip. He was patient, knowledgeable and shared information about the culture, offered great suggestions for optional stops along the tour (including a wood carving stop where we got a memorable experience and souvenir). Adhi offered to help us capture the moments - our very own personal photographer. He definitely loves what he does and that excitement and passion made our tour 10 times better. If you get Adhi as your tour guide rest assured you'll have a fantastic and memorable tour.

5.00We had a great tour of Ubud with Vitho. First, we went to the monkey forest and walked around and saw a lot of monkeys. Then we went to the jungle swing. This was very fun and a photo shoot. They provide women with a very pretty long dress, but I would recommend men to wear a nicer shirt for the photos if they would like. Then we went to the rice Terrace and hiked up and down the rice patties, which were beautiful. Next Vitho took us to the holy water temple, and he explained all the gods and culture beautifully. Then we went to the waterfall. We walked down and took a lot of pictures. Next he took us to a coffee plantation where we tried lots of different teas and coffees. Vitho even took us to a wood carving place because I said I was looking for a wooden Ganesha. Vitho was very kind and attentive and great at taking pictures. We had a great time and would recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys being active.
