Batuan Temple, referred to locally as ‘Pura Puseh lan Pura Desa Adat Batuan’, is a focal landmark in the namesake village of Batuan, well-known for its traditional Balinese arts and paintings. Within only a 10km transfer south from Ubud central, the site features a grand complex of shrines laid out within its 0.65Ha complex. Well preserved sandstone bas motifs and well-preserved traditional Balinese temple architecture are its main draws.

5.00I really enjoyed this Ubud tour and learned so much about Balinese culture and traditions from Ketut. He was kind, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to my needs. Even though I was the only one on the tour, it never felt boring since Ketut made the experience engaging and fun throughout. The tourist spots we visited were beautiful, and I’m glad they were included in the itinerary. We ended the day at a restaurant that served the best food I had during my entire trip to Indonesia. As a coffee lover, I especially enjoyed visiting the luwak coffee plantation and tasting the local coffee products. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ubud for the first time.
