Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Observing Long-Tailed Macaques This sanctuary is home to over 1,260 Balinese long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis). Visitors can observe their natural behaviors, such as playing, foraging, and social interactions. Exploring Ancient Temple Complexes Within the forest, there are three Hindu temples built around 1350: Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal: Located in the southwestern part of the forest, dedicated to the deity Shiva. Pura Beji: Situated in the northwestern area, it serves as a holy spring bathing temple for purification rituals before religious ceremonies. Pura Prajapati: Found in the northeastern section, adjacent to a cemetery used for temporary burials before mass cremation ceremonies. Enjoying Natural Beauty Spanning approximately 12.5 hectares, the sanctuary boasts over 186 species of plants and trees. Visitors can stroll along shaded pathways, immerse themselves in the lush forest ambiance, and listen to the sounds of nature.
Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul Temple, located in Tampaksiring, Bali, is a Hindu water temple renowned for its sacred springs used in purification rituals. Established in 962 AD during the Warmadewa dynasty, the temple is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu god associated with water. The temple features bathing pools fed by natural springs, where Balinese Hindus perform a cleansing ritual known as Melukat. The complex is divided into three sections: Jaba Pura (outer courtyard), Jaba Tengah (middle courtyard), and Jeroan (inner courtyard). In the middle courtyard, there are two pools with 30 water spouts, each believed to purify specific spiritual impurities. As an active site of worship, Tirta Empul Temple stands as a testament to Bali's rich architectural and cultural heritage, attracting numerous domestic and international visitors.

He took us to several beautiful places, including the Monkey Forest, handmade gold and silver workshops, an exciting ATV ride, and the stunning rice terraces. His service was excellent, the price was very fair, and he shared so much interesting information about Balinese culture and daily life. We felt very well taken care of and learned a lot along the way. We highly recommend his service to anyone visiting Bali – it really made our trip special!

5.00We did the Ubud trip with Jhon and it was really amazing. He showed us a lot of different places and told us a lot of informations about them. We were able to stop when we wanted to buy something or for lunch. He recommended a very good restaurant! Would always do it again!!

5.00Me and my wife went with the driver Jhon to monkey forest and waterfall tour and he also took us to coffee plantation and jewellery making with no extra cost, he taught us about the balinese culture and was so kind and patient waiting on us everywhere, nothing was ever too much for him , then after this day I requested to have him as my driver for me my wife and my friends for the remaining 2 weeks for lots more tours and taxi runs ,and honestly he was never late to pick us up and he was just an amazing person to spend all day with on tours , me my wife and friends got close to him because he is very endearing and we are all going to miss him , but I have his number and next time I'm in bali he will be my number 1 driver , he is the best ❤️, peter

5.00Best way to see Bali is by doing day trips with a driver. Kadek is the best! He is very friendly and knowledgeable and happily takes you to places you want to go. He has good judgement about which places can be done reasonably (so that you don’t spend all day in the car and not have enough time to enjoy the place). It is a bargain to have a car and driver for, essentially, a whole day to be able to travel at your convenience and not have to follow a particular pre-made schedule. You can stop and buy fresh fruit like mangosteen or rambutan, or even durian. Kadek also gave some fun recommendations for sights to see and places to eat that are on the way. Driving in Bali is particularly challenging as most people seem treat driving lanes as suggestions. motorcycles (even other cars) will cut in front of you without notice so your driver needs to be hyper aware of his surroundings. Kadek was an excellent driver and we felt very safe in his care.

5.00I had a great day out with my driver guide John. He was knowledgeable and easy to chat with. He shared Balienese history and customs. He was a safe and cheerful driver. We tweaked the itinerary to suit me as I had visited one or two places already. I was given enough time at each location to enjoy and take photos. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00I had a fantastic day with Jhon being taken around all the hotspots in Ubud! He was very knowledgeable of all the local areas and we visited a number of spots on the tour which included the monkey forest, rice field terrace, tegenungan waterfall and much more!! I couldn’t recommend the tour enough
