You have the option of either arranging for hotel pickup or heading directly to the Udawalawe National Park gate, where you'll rendezvous with your dedicated guide. Once there, you'll board a robust 4x4 vehicle, specially designed for navigating the park's rugged terrain and providing unobstructed views of its wildlife.

Udawalawe National Park, one of Sri Lanka's expansive reserves, is renowned for its substantial population of Asian elephants, often seen in herds of up to 100. Beyond elephants, the park is home to a diverse array of animals, including jungle cats, fishing cats, gray hangers, toque macaques, foxes, bandicoots, mongooses, jackals, wild boars, and water buffalo, among others. Your guide will impart valuable insights about the park's wildlife and its delicate ecosystem throughout the excursion. With morning and afternoon departure choices, you can tailor your experience to align with your vacation timetable.

Absolutely no problems. Nice contact the day before and on the day of the safari. Always caring about us, gave us best instructions, we felt very well. The tour itself was great, we hat an absolutely amazing driver - Rangana - that granted us every wish and we could make fantastic photos. We saw a baby elephant and were really really lucky with this all. Thanks a lot, this service is highly recommended!

We had an amazing trip with our guide Vishwa. He was engaging, fun and knowledgeable. The company was great to deal with and the booking process was easy. The Safari was definitely a highlight of our travels - to be so close to majestic elephants (including a baby!) and scarily close to 20+ crocodiles was a memory that will stay with all of us. The birdlife was wonderful too ❤️ A+

Great service from our tour guide and he was very vigilant in showing us animals of all sorts- jackals, birds and we even got to stroke a rare type of elephant. We also got to spend some time walking around a beautiful reservoir full of different species of birds. He went above and beyond and drove us to an ATM on the way back to our lodge.
