If you’re looking for the best off-roading experience in New Zealand, this is it. Take a ride in our Ultimate Off-Roader, our one-of-a-kind, custom-built all-terrain vehicle that goes everywhere. It’s one of the most unique adventure experiences in Queenstown, perfect for adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers. Note to guests: the only barrier between you and the full force of gravity is your harness!
Even though our experienced team knows all the best spots for twists, turns and drops, we always prioritise safety first. We provide protective gear that is regularly inspected and tested. All harnesses and safety belts in the off-roaders are routinely reviewed and kept to the highest safety standard. You’ll also sit through a safety briefing before your adventure so you can enjoy yourself in confidence.
Rock climbing, cliff dropping and drifting around a specially designed course of steep gullies, boulders and some ridiculous angles is all in a day’s work for these Ultimate Off-Roaders.

The Ultimate Off-Roader is a 4-Seater, which carries our trained professional driver and three passengers. The off-roaders are 4WD, 4-wheel steer, and an extremely low centre of gravity, allowing them to practically go anywhere. You’ll suit up in our off-roader kit, helmet and protective gear before strapping into the custom-designed vehicle for the off-road experience of a lifetime.

5.00What a blast, I had a ride in the 4x4 Cowper based truck, and it was as good as expected (even more at one point). So glad I came for this experience. The team was excellent, really helpful, friendly and polite
Off-road trucks were fantastic and the jet boats even better!

5.00We first rode the off-road trucks go up amazing things slide around corners, accelerate, marvelously, and have the appearance of great adventure without any real danger in the hands of excellent drivers. Then we rode the jet boats and the kids like these even better.

5.00If you're wondering whether to give this a crack the answer is yes. The people at Oxbow could not have been more friendly and welcoming, helpful and accomodating. The experience was above and beyond what any of us were expecting and we had a blast. My heart was in my mouth for 80% of the experience which isn't easy to do as I do a lot of adventure sports/ general adrenaline activities. The day out was made so worth while to experience something completely wildly different like this! Big shout out to Bush who did the driving for our gang. Phenomenal!!!!
