This self-paced scavenger hunt is geared toward kids! There is no time limit and you can begin and end whenever you like.

All clues lead to places where participants (especially kids) may want to stay a while. Parents, bring your wallets!

Participants will receive an email with 20 kid-friendly clues to locations all around Bend. With the clues you will attempt to find destinations around the city. Most clues can be searched online, but to figure out the tougher ones, you may have to ask locals. By visiting landmarks, businesses, and other interesting locations, you will learn all about Bend. Take selfies and email photos with your group to earn a completion certificate and possible other prizes.

Great time but a couple of suggestions

This was a really fun activity for all of us. I do have a couple of suggestions: 1. We didn't have enough time to "map" out each clue, so we found ourselves running back and forth across time. I would suggest that the clues come grouped together to save time, gas and energy. 2. The second suggestions is to make sure the stores and destinations actually know they are a destination on the scavenger hunt. Literally no store worker or manager had heard of the scavenger hunt and had no idea what we were doing. They were very nice and accommodating, but it felt a little strange for no one to know why we were there. However, we had a really fun time and went and found places we would have never found without this adventure. We are happy we did it and would suggest it to others.
