Helsinki Cathedral

A distinctive landmark in the Helsinki cityscape, with its tall, green dome surrounded by four smaller domes, the building is in the neoclassical style. It was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel as the climax of his Senate Square layout: it is surrounded by other, smaller buildings designed by him.

Nadia is an absolute gem. We were picked up on time, the van was roomie and clean with water and snacks provided. Mattias was an excellent driver and I actually fell asleep at times. Nadia’s warm personality and extensive knowledge makes the trip! I would say this is a perfect way to see Helsinki. Nadia even dropped us off at her recommended place to enjoy a traditional salmon soup and it was divine! We learned so much! Book it and you will not be disappointed.

Helsinki impressed us with its harmony of modernity and tradition, while Porvoo enchanted us with its charming old streets and wooden architecture. Our guide spoke with such passion about each place that it felt like he was sharing the secrets of an old friend. We were left with the brightest emotions and a strong desire to return!

The tour guide, Pascal, was excellent! Very informative, professional, and accommodating. Porvoo is a very quiet medieval town. Don't miss getting a Runeberg torte and one of the local cafes. It's fantastic. A really nice walk-around town.

Our guide and driver were excellent in getting us around to the key sites and making it very easy and efficient to see a lot in a short amount of time. Highly recommend. Learned so much about the history and Finland culture.

Nice overview of the area, saw a lot of cool sites, and the guide was very informative. Especially liked visiting the chocolate shop in Porvoo.

We were picked up from the hotel in a super comfortable vehicle. Cornelia, our tour guide was charming and fantastic! She gave us lots of information and she was fantastic company. We loved the little town of Porvoo! So charming! And we saw some of the main places in Helsinki! We loved Cornelia and our tour!
