We’ll begin our journey at the magnificent Temple of Demeter, one of Naxos’ most iconic ancient sites. Next, we’ll stop at a traditional pottery workshop to admire local artisans at work and learn about Naxos’ rich pottery tradition.
Then we’ll visit the colorful village of Chalki, where you’ll taste Naxos’ famous citrus liqueur.
After that, we’ll head to the charming village of Kaloxylos for a full tour of an olive press, where you’ll discover how some of Greece’s most aromatic and flavorful olive oils are made — and enjoy a tasting of the best local oils.
Our final stop is the mountain village of Apiranthos, with its stunning marble-paved streets and timeless atmosphere. To complete the day, we’ll enjoy a hearty, traditional Naxian lunch, full of flavors you’ll love.
Note: On Tuesdays, the Temple of Demeter is closed, but don’t worry — we’ll visit another beautiful local site so you won’t miss out!

5.00Our group of 4 ladies had a fabulous time with Stelios as our tour guide. He is very passionate about sharing his knowledge of Naxos and its history. Stelios is very friendly and personable and relayed lots of interesting stories. All the stops we made were educational and fun; Stelios adjusted our stays based on our interest and the whole day felt custom made for us. He has great relationships with the artisans and shopkeepers we met and they shared his enthusiasm in explaining their tradecraft. We topped the experience off with a delicious meal at a village restaurant. The price was very reasonable considering the duration and variety of things we got to do.

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful day on the tour. It was the perfect way to see parts of the island we would have not visited on our own. The guide was so personable. He had a wealth of local knowledge and history that made each stop fascinating. The to end with a delicious local lunch at the mountain top village the best way to complete the journey. We recommend to anyone to book this tour.

5.00This was the highlight of our Naxos visit. Both the driver and our guide were very friendly and spoke english well. We visited four spots and all were very interesting. It's hard to say which of the four I liked best, but possibly the mountain village where we had a late lunch.

5.00Stelios was amazing! We spent all day with him, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and relaxed and entertaining. All the places we visited were so interesting, and the various hosts were so gracious. The food was delicious, and we learned so much - and Stelios was so patient with all of our questions! We never would have covered so much ground or gotten so much information on our own. Highly recommend!

5.00Excellent day tour! We highly recommend this experience, a perfect way to get a taste of the mountain areas and villages of Naxos. Stelios was superb, knowledgeable, friendly and always keeping us at ease. His story telling and experience made this a truly fun experience. Pottery workshop visit and olive oil press/tasting stop were particular highlights! We’re so glad we did this!

5.00We did a private all-day tour of Naxos with Stelios. We were a group of 5 friends (4 guys, 1 girl). Stelios was very knowledgeable regarding the history and culture of Naxos and Greece. He took us to many highlights including temple of Demeter, pottery demonstration, visiting a lovely small town named Halki with citron liquor tasting, olive oil production lesson with olive oil tasting (one of our favorite parts), and an absolutely delicious lunch. Stelios was very knowledgable, chill, fun, flexible, and overall absolutely great guide for the day. The tour consistented of components that appealed to every individual in the group, from shopping to eating to exploring. Overall, we highly recommend this tour. Stelios had a very authentic energy and represented the culture of Naxos very well.
