Our local guides look forward to accompaning you , on a Full Day West Coast Tahiti tour .You'll join a small group of 4-8 l in a new air- conditioned Mercedes. Discover waterfalls, black sandy beaches, botanical gardens, surfers, surf spots, mountain springs and caves. Enjoy spontaneous, authentic opportunities to meet the locals discovering how they live and spend their daily lives. Taking you to off the beaten track parts of the island, exposing you to 'the real deal' , part of the unique experience we will offer you

Lunch is at a local restaurant on the beach (not included in the price of the tour) Your opportunity to eat local food, in an idyllic popular local restaurant

A boat trip to the wave at Teahupoo. The 30 minutes boat ride paid on the day to the boat captain to the OLYMPIC SURF site if conditions allow is adn additional 30usd p/seat paid to the captain. NB 20 JULY-5 AUGUST 2024 we are unable to include the boat ride to the OLYMPIC SURF SPOT, secured for security reasons

The Water Gardens of Vaipahi

As you wander the garden paths, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a massive explosion of color. Your guide will point out vibrant red ginger, exotic hibiscus, and rare tropical flowers that make this botanical sanctuary feel like a living masterpiece. You'll walk alongside peaceful streams and lily ponds while hearing the cool legends of the ancient Maohi people who once considered this entire area a sacred spiritual site. The real showstopper is the Vaipahi waterfall. You can stand right at the base of the falls as fresh mountain water crashes down a mossy cliff into a crystal-clear pool. The refreshing mist feels amazing in the tropical heat and makes for an incredible Tahiti photo op. It’s a short, easy, and totally refreshing way to experience the authentic soul of the island’s nature.

My wife and I took a fabulous full day west coast tour of tahiti with Tracey and we were sure glad we did. Tracey gives you kind of indepth and insider tour that you cant get from the cookie cutter type tours. Only someone who has lived for decades in this place and among these people which she clearly loves can give you a tour like this... our tour included a wonderful boat ride out to watch the waves and surfers at Teahupoo, site of the 2024 Olympics.. a lovely lunch with the locals at a delicious beach side restaurant and picturesque water gardens and breathtaking scenery and sights and tons of local info...worth every penny.. dont waste your precious limited time in Tahiti... Tracey is the Gold Standard.

If I could give this to tour 10 stars, I would. An informative tour about the real Tahiti. Tracie was our guide. She was informative. She was funny. She picked us up at the cruise ship port. The van was clean and very comfortable. She provided us with ample water She’s lived here for many years and she told us a lot about the traditional family structure and how real people live in Tahiti and have lived in Tahiti for generations. We got to see what Tahiti looks like outside of Papeete. She was very accommodating to the things we wanted to see. It is an all day excursion/tour, but it went by so quickly. We stopped and had a really great lunch at a cute little place. I would recommend this tour. It was myself and my 80-year-old parents and they loved it. The botanical garden that we visited was absolutely stunning. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Tahiti. If you have two days like I did or you’re here for a longer amount of time this tour is a must.

I was looking for a unique experience and this was recommended to me. The company worked with me to make this happen as a solo traveler. Dom was the perfect guide - knowledgeable and informative, as a lifelong local gave us insights we would not otherwise have had the opportunity for. He was also friendly and an expert at accommodating everyone’s needs and desires. A very full day of memorable experiences - highly recommend.

We had a fab tour with Ronnie as our guide who was really friendly and informative - we got to know loads about the island and Polynesian history and culture and visited a sacred site. Other highlights were the boat trip to Teahupoo, the fabulous fish restaurant for lunch, the waterfall, the botanic gardens, seeing the eels and all the amazing flowers and fruit. It was a fantastic introduction to Tahiti! Thanks so much :)

Very nice day, well paced and full of beautiful discoveries. The boat ride on the site of Teaoupo'o fantastic. Recommend without hesitation. Our guide with little care and very involved with an excellent knowledge of the environment.

Outstanding tour with an excellent guide! Tracy was fantastic. We never would have found the places she took us too on our own. Magnificent waterfalls, and pools. Lunch at a local restaurant that was on the water. Highly recommend.

We were two couples traveling together and were joined by 2 other people in our group. It was certainly an informative tour, however, a few suggestions, tips....This is a VERY long day with alot of information so it might not be best to do when jet lagged. It was a little bit overwhelming and exhausting for all of us listening to the tour guide for 8 hours pretty much non stop. Speak up early when you need a restroom break and bring toilet tissue and hand sanitizer. The restrooms were few and far between and didn't have tissue or soap. Bring travel sickness medications especially for the boat ride out to Teahupoo to see the surfers in the huge waves. By the way, this is NOT included in your tour so have money to pay to captain during the tour. It is definitely worth it and a highlight of the day but the waters are rolling so if you tend to get sea sick be prepared. Bottled water is provided (not cold so if that is important to you, bring your own insulated bottled water). No snacks are provided and lunch wasn't until about 2:30pm. The tour starts early in the day so having a snack or two with you might be helpful. The lunch stop was a bit underwhelming and it is not included in the tour. Most of the items were not available on the menu. All four of us were very careful as to what we chose to eat as it didn't feel particularly clean. There was one smelly toilet for both men and women there as well. Bring a hat and wear suncream as there are long periods of time standing out in the sun and it is strong. Think about your footwear as you'll be walking on a black sand beach to see surfers which is cool, however, the sand gets into everything. Overall it is an interesting tour and worth considering during your stay in Tahiti. You do learn quite a bit about the Tahitian culture throughout the day. For us, it just felt about 2 hours too long and we would have prefered to skip the lunch.
