1000 Lingas

The next destination which just a few minutes’ walk from reclining buddha is the 1000 Lingas River on Kulen Mountain is a must-visit for anyone new to the area. The river is home to 1000 lingas, or stone carvings of the Hindu god Shiva. The carvings are said to have been created by 16th-century ruler Jayavarman VII as a symbol of his devotion to Shiva. Today, the 1000 Lingas River is a popular spot for swimming, picnicking, and hiking. Visitors can also take part in rituals and ceremonies at the river's temples. Great waterfall experience and seeing reclining buddha. Lingas mostly not visible. Nice day in nature after temple visit yd.

We were in Cambodia guided by Suon Davann , one of the best guides I have ever known in my entire life. He liked to be called John ( because of the movie Indiana Jones ... lol) . Suon Davann not only knows everything about Cambodia, he does it with love ,passion , what makes the whole difference. We became friends, so great was the experience. We had even forest barbecue... simply unforgettable!!! In my opinion he has to be the top 1 in Cambodia . I highly recommend!!!

We were introduced to Mr. John by our hotel. We did Angkor Wat sunrise tour followed by full day temple tour including Bantey Serai. Next day we did Kulen Mountain tour with Mr. John, he is very knowledgeable and friendly, took great pictures with our phones. He was very attentive to our needs.

Mr. Pich was a great guide, and his English is quite good. He showed us around Siem Reap, and took us to Angkor Wat and Kulen mountain. I'd highly recommend him as a tour guide.

My husband was suffering heat exhaustion from the day before and our guide, Phiarom Chhoung, was compassionate and flexible so that we could enjoy the tour at my husband's pace. He was informative and made the tour well worth it. Would definitely recommend!
