  Anna at Best Price Travel was wonderful. She kept us updated and helped us pick the best option, including a final day at Angkor Wat. This should be on everyone's list! We like to use operators in the country we are visiting, and we certainly weren't disappointed with this one. The cruise was on the Jayavarman of the Heritage Line, which can't be faulted in any respect - superb. - see photos. Anna even met us on our first day to keep everything running smoothly.   Sunset on the Mekong was a lovely experience once we got to the ship. As it was Laos New Years, traffic was stopped and we were late, but the ship masters waited for us. The food was good, accompanied by beer or a soft drink. Wine was extra. All in all, a nice evening.

  I was unfortunately unable to attend this sunset cruise due to transportation issues, but the main difficulty was the lack of timely communication from the operator. I messaged ahead of departure explaining my situation and requesting assistance, but did not receive a response until after the cruise had already left, which left no opportunity to coordinate or resolve the issue in time. The operator later explained that 50% of the charge was retained due to food preparation. However, earlier that day they had asked about my dietary restrictions, and when I responded, there was no acknowledgment or reply. This made it unclear whether my dietary information had actually been received or factored into their preparation. I do appreciate that a 50% refund was eventually processed and that they communicated professionally afterward. However, for time-sensitive experiences like this, timely communication beforehand is essential. Overall, this may still be a nice experience for those able to attend, but clearer and more responsive communication would significantly improve the customer experience.

  We booked this last minute so hadn’t done any research which is unusual. However it turned out to be a truly amazing experience and one we will never forget. We felt like royalty it was that good. The food amazing, the sunset spectacular and overall service way over 5 stars. Absolutely recommend this to anyone.

  I had an amazing time on the sunset cruise operated by Victoria Xiengthong Palace. The boat was elegant and comfortable, with beautiful seating areas that allowed us to fully enjoy the Mekong River views. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering refreshing drinks and light snacks throughout the journey. As the sun began to set over the Mekong, the atmosphere became absolutely breathtaking — golden light reflecting on the water, peaceful surroundings, and the gentle sound of the river. It was one of the most memorable moments of my trip to Luang Prabang. Whether you’re a couple, a group of friends, or traveling solo, this cruise is a must-do experience for anyone wanting to see the true beauty of Luang Prabang from the river.   The amazing trip and experience on the Me Kong river, you should go when you come here. This time i have chance to admire the beauty of Me Kong river, experience the culture and cuisine of local people.
