There are NO kids allowed under the age of 8 years old.
You must arrive 20 minutes early. Experience a fully guided tour into the 8th wonder of the world, Upper Antelope Canyon. This tour will show the natural illuminating sunlight on the canyon walls, while it is changing colors throughout the seasons. Tour 1 allows sightseers to experience the canyon for around 80 minutes in their selected time slot. With the new updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is a single direction tour. Visitors will now exit with a 15-minute hike, up and over the beautiful canyon. There are 21 steps going up and 112 steps going down.
No children under 8 years old and due to the elevation changes, this tour is not handicapped accessible.

5.00Our tour guide Carlyle was the BEST!! He was nice, he educated us, answered our questions with no problem, and made sure we were safe at all times!! He even made sure our pictures came out AMAZINGGG!! He needs a raise! He was the best tour guide for this experience

5.00This was one of my favorite tours I have ever taken. The larger group is broken up into smaller groups each with their own Navajo guide to take you through the canyon. We were transported to the start of the canyon in air-conditioned buses. The tour lasts ~80 minutes. My guide was very knowledgeable and not only pointed out unique architecture in the canyon, but also educated us on Navajo culture. They also helped take amazing photos throughout the journey. I would definitely bring plenty of water as the climate is very dry and good shoes as the terrain is sand. FYI, only cell phones, cameras, and water bottles are allowed (no bags of any size including fanny packs). My guide said that the first and last tours of the day tend to have less crowds.

1.00Yesterday, Friday the 13th, 2026, my family booked an Upper Antelope Canyon tour for two people. I have experienced this tour before with another company, so this time I decided to try a new experience with the services provided by The Adventurous Group. We booked two tickets for the 12:40 p.m. time slot for my wife and my sister to join the tour. The tour was led by a guide who introduced himself as being on his first day of work. During the tour, my family had a very terrible and unforgettable experience, and we even felt that we were being treated in a discriminatory manner. When my family asked the guide to take photos, he appeared annoyed and was not as helpful or enthusiastic as he was with other guests (we are unsure if this was because we are Asian). Furthermore, when my wife and sister asked for photos, he only agreed to take a picture of one person at a time, and the photos he took were of very poor quality. This was completely different from the level of service and experience I have received on similar tours in the past. Overall, I feel extremely frustrated and disappointed with today’s tour. I would like to share this experience so that your company is aware and can improve your services for future customers. I hope the company will take this feedback into consideration.

5.00Loretta did a wonderful job teaching us about the history of the canyon and was a masterful photographer, getting pictures of us that did justice to the incredible beauty of the Canyon. An incredible experience!

5.00We were so please with this tour. Our family wanted to experience this canyon tour and to have a native guide who was so skilled, experienced, helpful, and professional was perfect. Loretta is the best and if I ever came back I would try to get her services again. A truly amazing, sacred location that I feel so fortunate to have been able to visit.

5.00One of the best tours I have been on!! My tour guide was Carson, his knowledge of the canyon and his personal experience made the tour well worth the price. Learning about the Navajo culture made me appreciate the canyon and its surroundings. Truly remarkable hour and half that I will remember forever!!

5.00Cliff, our guide, was great. He went above and beyond to help everyone in the group take great photos. Also, Adventurous had the best transportation of any other guide group that was there at the time.
