Lamar Valley
Lamar Valley "the Serengeti of North America" is located in the northeastern region of Yellowstone National Park and is well known for its incredible landscape, flora, fauna, and abundance of wildlife. Our safari makes several stops here in search of wildlife. Your guide will educate you on its historical or geological significance.
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
The canyon is 800 to 1,200 feet deep and 1,500 to 4,000 feet wide. Enjoy the awe-inspiring view of Yellowstone River raging through the canyon and dropping as a 308-foot waterfall.

5.00Fantastic day with an amazing guide! Tin crafted an itinerary tailored to our particular viewing goals, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, landscape and animal life of the park. Her love for Yellowstone, and for the animals who live there, shines through.

5.00What a fabulous Yellowstone Upper Loop Tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the park and it's varied wildlife. He personalized our tour to ensure we could see all of the sites important to us. Spencer was able to quickly find wildlife with the naked eye and spotting scope that we would have never even noticed on our own! While watching on his own and using his years of experience he was also listening on the radio to other guides for animals spotted around the park. We were able to see wolves, black bears, elk, mule deer, prong horn and bison. We felt perfectly safe at all times and still able to experience all of the wonder of the park. Spencer was kind and thoughtful, even setting up our picnic lunch at a scenic overlook. Lunch was delicious! Our sandwiches were high quality, tasty and not at all soggy! The caterer also easily accommodated my dietary limitations. We are looking forward to returning in the future and will be booking with Sky's the Limit again.

5.00We had a great day with Mike. He asked us what we wanted to see and took us all over the upper loop. We saw so many different animals including grizzled bears, black bear, bison, pronghorn, swan, elk and tons of bison. Mike was a wealth of information. We had a great lunch in a beautiful spot. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had a great day with Tin! We saw bears, wolves,bison,elk,a coyote,mule deer and pronghorn antelope. She was very informative about Yellowstone and gave us information on things to see during the rest of our trip. We had a great lunch at a beautiful spot. We would recommend it! Thank you for a great day! We will definitely take another tour the next time we come back!

5.00This experience was aboosutely phenomenal!!!! Clara was our tour guide and she knew so many people there to know whom to talk to and/or where to go for the wildlife. We ended up seeing about 6 grizzlies and 10 black bears of all ages/sizes. Wolves. Coyotes, fox, owls, herons, eagles, osprey( vultures, and bison of course. Only thing we didn’t see were Moose and bighorn sheep. We plan on using her again and got her contact information as well. We paid for a private tour - 6 hours and she ended up going 8 hours. We had lunch, snacks drinks galore. She was amazing!!!!
Tour focused upon the wildlife, geology, and natural wonders of Yellowstone National Park.

5.00We had an amazing day with Zak! So glad he recommended an earlier start time because within the first two hours of the tour, we had already seen dozens of animals. Over the course of the day, we saw black bears, grizzly bears, wolves, coyotes, fox (a “three dog day!”), bison, elk, pronghorns, osprey, and more. We prioritized following the animals and loved having the flexibility. Zak provided excellent knowledge of the park and best sites to spot the animals, professional equipment, and awesome photos and videos of everything we saw. Absolutely recommend this very family friendly tour!

5.00We had an amazing experience with tour guide Zak today - he was such a pro, and was kind at every turn. Set us up for amazing close ups with bison, a grizzly bear, elk, and so many beautiful features within Yellowstone. We took several “less traveled” routes and just really enjoyed listening to his frequent knowledge sharing about park details, animal facts, etc - he really made our first trip to the park a special one!!

5.00My husband and I had an epic day doing the Upper Loop with Tin as our guide for a private tour! We saw grizzlies, wolves, black bear, moose, coyote, elk, bison, big horn sheep, pronghorns. Tin set up our lovely picnic lunch in a beautiful field. She was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide who took excellent care of us all day while sharing her in depth knowledge of Yellowstone. Perfect day!

5.00My wife and I had a fantastic tour of the Upper Loop and Lamar Valley with Zak. The day started with a gorgeous sunrise over the valley. With Zak’s vast knowledge of Yellowstone, he took us to all of the best spots to view wildlife. We were able to see many animals including bison, wolves, black bears, and grizzly bears. After lunch overlooking the valley, Zak took us to see the upper and lower falls. Incredible viewing! Highly recommend Sky’s The Limit Tours.
