  I booked at $114 made of the mist boat ride and guided tour. First, our time slot was changed from 10 AM, to show up at 9 AM. Not a big deal always the earlier the better, unfortunately when we arrived, we realize that the 9 o’clock slot and the 10 o’clock slot we’re being grouped together without anybody’s knowledge. Not only did that increase the group size, but it didn’t give the availability to be personalized or actually be able to hear anything from our guide. We were whisked away quickly to go on the maid of the mist. And there was no conversation or guided tour towards the way to the entrance for the boat. Now mind you, our guide was called on that day, he has never worked for this travel tourist agency, and was unaware of what to do other than bring us to the boat. He was really nice, but unfortunately, after the boat ride, we were told that we were on our own. Now, when you pay the money, it says a two hour guided tour plus a boat ride. It took under an hour for the boat ride and waiting in line. And then we were just left free to do whatever we wanted. I got more information from the other guides that were doing other tours from other companies than what this company did. I tried to reach out to them to get a 50% refund back considering that that would be appropriate cause we did do the boat ride which I highly suggest doing but not through an agency go directly to the source. I will be having to escalated further to my appropriate bank to get a refund because I have been denied twice and this company likes to give you the runaround. I would avoid them at all costs, most of the things that you can find can be done cheaply and better than having to deal with this terrible company that unfortunately will not be getting my business again. I expect when you pay for something and it is in the description that you get what is stated. I would avoid them, and this is the last time that I will ever use them. One bad experience can ruin a customers potential expenses with the company. And they have unfortunately ruined it and I strongly advise again to look elsewhere.

  The Maid of The Mist was amazing and so was our guide Jacob! He was full of knowledge and history about the area, insightful tips on getting the best experience on the boat, and he was very animated. I will recommend this experience to everyone!

  Awful!! Local tour guide never showed up to meet us! I called Viator 3 times and was told in broken English that they could not reach the local operator. They would not refund my money until they talked to local operator. I was given the local Operators phone number. When I called it a man answered and sounded asleep - when I started to explain my situation he hung up on me. I called back and a voice mail answered. Eventually (after waiting 45 minutes) we left.
