Uvac Special Nature Reserve

The Uvac Special Nature Reserve is located in the hinterland of southern Serbia, hidden deep in Serbian mountains. The canyon has the detours of Jiuqu's ileum and the colorful colors of Jiuzhaigou. Several large 180 ° turns make visitors who can't help but marvel at the magic of nature. Here, we can stand and jump in the lush vegetation, take an intimate photo with the canyon behind us, or we can sit quietly, watch the wonders of nature, and wash our body and mind from fatigue.

Zica Monastery

Zica Monastery is one of the more important medieval churches in Serbia. The monastery looks mediocre, but it has a lot of background. It is the first monastery in Serbia to receive the seat of bishop. St. Sava is here for the coronation and anointing ceremony of Stefan Nimanya II. Here, you can admire the murals in the courtyard, listen to the monks telling the monastery's past, present and past, and feel the past glory of the Nimanya dynasty.

Maglic Fortress

The exact date and builder of Maglic fortress are unknown, and there is no record of the fortress's early days. According to archaeological findings, it was built in the 13th century. The fort was built on the top of a mountain surrounded by water on three sides. It has a unique monitoring perspective and guarded the only way from the ancient city of Las to the central Serbia plain at that time. All people and horses must pass by the river at the foot of the fort, which is a natural danger. . The fortress is surrounded by eight towers and connected city walls. Inside the fortress are weapons depots, barracks, command rooms, churches and other ruins. When it was built, it was used to defend nearby towns and monasteries. It also served as an army station during the Ottoman Empire. During the Serbian Revolution, it was used as a stronghold for an uprising, and it is one of the fortress sites in Serbia today that are relatively intact.

Studenica Monastery

The Nimanya dynasty in the Middle Ages is the most glorious page in Serbian history. Many monasteries built here have become Serbian precious cultural heritage. The Studenica Monastery was built by the founder of the Nimanya dynasty, Stefan Nimanya I. He was finally buried here. The importance of the monastery is self-evident. It has become one of the four world cultural heritage sites in Serbia. Here, you can visit the exquisite frescoes and learn about the history of the monastery and even Serbia's medieval history with the monks.

Mokra Gora

Mokra Gora is a famous attraction in Serbia. It was built by a Serbian director for the filming of the movie "Life is a Miracle". For the needs of shooting, it was built into a city made entirely of wood and stone. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the scenery is extreme, with wooden houses, granaries and livestock sheds, it looks very peaceful. It seems to be a "utopia" far away from the city, the hustle and bustle and war.

The Sargan 8 railway was once an extremely difficult section of the Belgrade-Sarajevo narrow-gauge railway. Today, it is mainly used for sightseeing, with a total length of 15.5 kilometers. Because one section of the track has two consecutive circles, from a height, it happens to be an "8", so it is called Sargan 8. The entire running route has to traverse 10 bridges and 22 tunnels. The famous film railway station in the former Yugoslavia filmed the movie "Life is a Miracle" is this railway station. Drina River House

Drina River House is a postcard-like landscape in Serbia, which has attracted the attention of the world because of its appearance in National Geographic magazine in August 2012. There is a very meaningful story behind Drina River House. In 1968, in order to enrich their childhood life, the two teenagers living in the town of Bayina Bashta built a small wooden house on the reef in the river at home as a base for their friends. Unfortunately, this small river will be flooded every March, and there will be a large-scale flood every 5-10 years. The original hut did not last long and was destroyed by a flood. However, the hearts of these two teenagers were as tough as Serbia, and they did not succumb to nature and rebuilt the hut time and time again. The cabin we are now in is the seventh generation.
