Torres dels Serrans
The Serrano Towers are a great example of Gothic architecture. They were part of the medieval city walls and were built between 1392 and 1398 by the architect Pere Balaguer. They served as one of the gates of the city with a main defensive function. Because of their location, they were also an entrance for those who came from the Serranos area, hence their name. The towers have two large polygonal towers flanking a central arch. The exterior is strong and simple, reflecting its military purpose. Over the centuries, the towers have served as a defense point, prison for nobles and historical monument. You can explore the interior of the towers and climb to enjoy one of the best views of the city.
Puerta Del Mar
Even if it seems ancient, the Sea Gate is a modern reconstruction. It was rebuilt in 1946 to honor the fallen in the Spanish Civil War. It is made of white stone with three arches, the central one being the largest.

5.00Wonderful tour and guide! We were late by almost an hour as we got behind coming from our cruise ship and then could not find the location. They were still gracious to give us an abbreviated tour which was awesome! We still saw many grest sites and had time for pictures.

1.00We were scheduled for a 10 AM tuktuk tour and I got a phone call via WhatsApp from Sylvio at 9 AM asking where I was. I notified him that I had a 10 AM tour and texted my confirmation to him. He said he would be there when we got there. I did text him when we arrived around 935am but he was having coffee and was chatting until 10am At 10 AM we were taking the tour by another driver -Borja. As we are getting on the tuktuk , we were told we could only have a one hour tour since there was an error in scheduling. And that I would “half my money back” We did do the one hour tour, but this is not at all what I had planned for my day. If I had known I would’ve cancelled right there We were all dissatisfied. 1- today is my husband‘s birthday and it was part of his gift and a one hour tour was very rushed. No ability to stop at all and had to skip area by the beach 2- the tuktuk lost power and stopped suddenly in the middle of traffic three or four times with cars honking and slamming on brakes behind us. We were reallly concerned about being hit by another car. So not only did I not get a two hour tour for my husband‘s birthday. I was placed in danger repeatedly. They did give me a small credit but it was such a dangerous and poor experience, I advise not booking with this company

1.00It is very hard to see anything other than what is at street level as any buildings / sites that require you to look up are blocked by the tarp. It is also extremely hard to hear at times due to noise of traffic
