We will teach you how to cook the traditional and authentic Valencian Paella with meat (chicken and rabbit). A team of native cooks and assistants who will teach you how to cook it in the most enjoyable and amusing way. We will try that you to learn all the keys of the paella.

We have set out to teach you how to cook one of the most international dishes, the Valencian Paella. Rice is its main ingredient, followed by chicken, rabbit and vegetables. We will meet in our kitchen. We will start with a sangria workshop that we will accompany with some delicious freshly cooked tapas and drinks. Then we will divide into groups and start with the paella workshop. We will discover the necessary ingredients to cook an authentic Valencian paella (fresh ingredients bought in the Ruzafa market). Our chef will explain step by step all the secrets of a good paella and you will be the one who cooks the paella. While we cook we will learn a little more about the customs and culture of the Valencians. Once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

Me and my husband had a wonderful and joyful experience with My First Paella! Ana and Cristina have been happy guides and skilled teachers that revealed us the secrets of excellent paella and sangria! It was interesting also to learn the context of both, the history behind the dish itself. The paella in the end was not just very tasty, it was the best we've had in Valencia! Very nice cooking experience. The 2 teachers have been very good, caring and joyful. The paella at the end was exquisite. Also the sangria and several other beverage and food we've been given were really tasty (wine,shots,tapas,cake..). Good experience also for meeting new people in a friendly context and nice atmosphere.

“Passt schon” – as we say in Bavaria, meaning it doesn’t get any better than this. And that perfectly describes my experience at the Paella school in Valencia. From the warm welcome to the final bite, everything was absolutely spot on. The instructors were passionate, knowledgeable, and made the whole process both fun and easy to follow. Learning about the history of paella, selecting fresh ingredients, and cooking together in such a relaxed atmosphere was a real highlight. The result? An authentic, delicious paella that tasted even better because we made it ourselves. This experience was not just a cooking class, but a true taste of Valencian culture. Excellent class for making paella. We had a great family time. We were taught several tips to do it ourselves.
