• Awesome trainer that teaches you about the waves

  Emilian really cares about the waves and the impact on the students, he drove over an hour to Corral Del Risco so we can hit some good waves and along the way, he thought us the basics of the waves and where you would want to be. It was my first time surfing and I was able to catch some waves. Took us to a local seafood restaurant afterwards and it was also very good. Definitely recommend if you really want to learn about surfing. Would book a private lesson next time I visit.

  Had such a great time with Emilian, Niko, and Pargo. They were great instructors. I’ve taken surf lessons before, but this was one of the best. On top of giving tips on how to position the board and our stance, they also gave us really helpful instruction on what to look for in the waves. I was able to catch multiple waves, some with their help and some on my own! Highly recommend if you’re thinking of surfing while in the Puerto Vallarta/Sayulita area. I don’t know if they can do this for every group, but we were all hungry at the end of class so we all took a trip to a nearby place for some amazing seafood before heading back to where we were staying. Nothing but great things to say about this experience!

  Everything from pickup to the end was a great experience! Learned more than I thought I would & had a great time, truly feel like I improved after a few hours with him. Knows his stuff & can explain things in a way that’s easy to understand. Highly recommend!

  Emilian is an amazing surf instructor! He is very patient, friendly, and a great teacher. The whole experience from the start to finish went smooth, and it was such a fun time. As a first timer, I did not expect to do super well and catch waves. But with Emilian’s help, I surprisingly did really well and it was sooooooo fun. With the way he set me up to actually surf a wave, I was able to catch real waves and ride them out sideways going so fast. Highly recommend!! mmend!!

  I have never surfed before and I didn't really have any idea about what went into it, but our guide was very thorough in explaining the way the ocean works in an easy to understand manner to the point that I was riding waves about halfway through, observing the principles he taught. Still much to work on, but I think this was a good foundation to start from and I know what I am aiming for now. If I had more time I would have booked more sessions with them to advance more, but my flight leaves tomorrow unfortunately so I wasn't able to fit it in. My only regret is not booking earlier in my trip All in all a good experience and I highly recommend them!

  Emiliano and Rudy were surf instructors we had and were amazing. We appreciate their technicality and safety in the water. I always felt safe and excited to surf!

  This was our first time ever surfing and it was a very fun experience! I was nervous it would be overwhelming since I’d never done it before but it was super chill, the waves weren’t too big and the water wasn’t that deep so we were able to maneuver easily and learn a lot. The instructor explained all of the terminology to us and helped us understand how to look for a good wave, so we got some good base info for next time. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real surfing experience as a complete beginner!

  I was nervous that surfing would be super scary because I have a fear of the ocean, but it was very approachable. Emilian is a very fun and super detailed instructor. Learned all about vocab and surfed the face instead of just straight. Super mellow and very fun, got a lot of good waves and took us to food after. Muy divertida y fácil, aprendimos mucho!!

  This was an awesome experience. I was pretty nervous to try surfing, but Emilian was reassuring and made it really fun. Both my partner and I were able to stand up and surf some waves even though it was our first time. We appreciated the way he taught us the basic terminology and how to ride more than just white water. It was a nice touch that he took us to a local spot for a snack after. Will book with him again if we ever return to Puerto Vallarta.
