2.00Sadly not a tour suited to me. There was far too much just standing in sunshine and talking. It took some time to even get over the bridge into Valletta. We hardly covered any distance in over an hour. We chose to leave the tour part way through.

5.00We have been on many guided tours around various countries in the world, but I have to say that this one this morning through the old town of Valletta was one of the best if not the best! Our guide Karl was easy to find at the designated place, he even sent a personal WhatsApp message to me on the morning of the tour confirming the meeting place. Karl’s knowledge was impressive and he was very enthusiastic and entertaining in his delivery of all the information about the areas we visited. I would personally like to thank him for such a delightful 2.5 hour wander through the streets.

3.00Tour guide provided a lot of information but was rather boring, repeating things. Stopped often, but there was only time to see the outside of buildings.

5.00Honestly, where do I even start - Lailla was just incredible. The way she brings the history to life is something else - every story connects to the next and before you know it, the whole history just falls into place, rather than just throwing random facts at you. For me the biggest sign of a great tour is when you look up and it’s already over and I genuinely didn’t want it to end. The time just flew. I could have easily kept going for another few hours and not complained once. If you’re visiting Valletta, honestly don’t skip this. It’ll completely change the way you see the city. Lailla is a gem and this walk is easily one of the best things I did on this trip.

5.00Excellent tour packed with history. I had no idea Malta had been such an important island. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We suggest investing in headphones and microphone for tour guide as that would make it even better.

5.00It is very simple to visit this city because it has a grid layout. Every street is worth a photo... especially in the morning when it is empty of tourists.
