Explore the jungles along the Talofofo and Ugum Rivers on this half-day tour. Visitors of all ages, from all over the world, will be greeted by our friendly staff at the Valley of the Latte Main Staging area near the Gift Shop. Fun and experienced guides will welcome you onto one of our Adventure River Boats. The trip begins as the boat leaves the dock and you are transported to another place and another time as you cruise over cool and calm waters. As you make your way down the ancient rivers, you will catch a glimpses of a thriving ancient Chamorro village. Over 4,500 years of history will be shared as you are greeted by Ulitao, a seafaring organization that keeps ancient traditions alive. Your knowledgeable guides will provide information on the history of the land, people, and local flora, fauna, and wildlife. A delicious Fiesta Style BBQ plate is provided on all morning tours and guests are allowed to enjoy a gorgeous botanical garden and animal sanctuary.

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Casual attire and walking shoes are the options of choice. However, if surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding or adventure hiking are more your speed, then dress appropriately for the fun-filled family adventures that lie ahead.
Please remember to bring your hats, caps, towels, sunglasses, and cameras. You must not forget cameras and remember to share all your wonderful experiences while immersing yourself in the sun, fun and sand.

he Valley of the Latte delivers a unique and once in a lifetime experience. As you travel along the Talofofo and Ugum Rivers, you will be transported to another time at the heart of Guam. Knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining guides will share the rich history and culture of the Ancient Latte site, the local waters, the local wildlife, and ensure that you are smiling from start to finish. You will be welcomed by our living village, and guided through a breathtaking botanical garden, walk through the ruins of an ancient CHamoru village that is over 1,000 years old, and learn about Guam's history and culture. The experience only gets better as our guides demonstrate how ancient CHamoru started their fires and show you traditional basket weaving techniques. The longer you are here, the more you realize, that this is the best way to experience Guam.

5.00My family loved this riverboat cruise!!! We had a great time and learned a lot with a side of humor from the crew. Lunch was delicious local food and we loved learning how to make palm leaf creations. Highly recommend this experience!

5.00This was our second time in the past year doing the riverboat tour. It’s become one of our favorite educational outdoor activities on the island. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The entire staff was wonderful and hilarious. The lunch was fantastic. And I learn something new about our island every time we come. 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely return.

5.00I participated in this activity with my son. The guide was very kind and spoke quite a bit of Japanese, which surprised me. There were thorns and fish, wild boars and goats, and I was somehow moved. We also had a buffalo ride. It was quite interesting and interesting. If there's only one caveat, it's that it's far from the center, so it's better to make sure you have legs for the round trip. I asked for a taxi from the office on the way back, but it still took quite a while.

5.00The jungle river boat cruise is a fantastic tour with an amazing staff and lots of knowledge to share. The location is really easy to find just off the main road. The tour starts with a boat ride through both forks of the two rivers while the captain and crew provide history and entertainment, mixed with good humor and witty commentary. Once you arrive at the village you are greeted with more friendly and knowledgeable staff providing great historical info and familiarization of the local flora (fauna comes later in the tour). They introduce you to more ancient tools and weaving, again with more fun commentary and entertainment. The lunch provided is delicious with a good small variety to sample of local food. You receive some lessons animals and get to enjoy some hands-on weaving. You finish off with a a quick boat ride back and enjoy some history and treats for purchase back at the office. Thank you to the entire team for making this a memorable experience for our family. Highly recommend this to others to enjoy and learn about the history of this beautiful island.

5.00This is probably the only review i'll ever make but wow, i couldnt recommend this trip enough. there are some things you know youll look at when your older and this is one of them. the tour guides were funny, genuine, accommodating and in good spirits. really knew how to work a crowd and make it a fun, yet educational environment. Plus the owners the riverboat tour even picked us some fresh mangos from their farm. this tour was easily the highlight of our trip and id absolutely come back. Thank yall so much for the amazing experience, couldnt recommend enough. its worth it if you enjoy learning about other cultures, trying authentic/unique foods, a little walk through nature, and a good laugh. 11/10
