The Vancouver Lookout is open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week with the last elevator taking guests up at 5:30 pm. Please check our website for any early or special closures.

What To Expect

Vancouver Lookout

Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977. Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck. We recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure that the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience. *NOTE: The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing time. Learn about our city from information panels located throughout the deck or follow the complimentary self-guided audio tour. Free Wi-Fi is available.

It was a very interesting trip. I like to see the city from above - it is easier for me to explore it later, and if I have already seen something, I can relate it to a specific location in the city. The use of the terrace is perfectly organized. If there are not many people, you can walk around it at your own pace and return to the place you have already been.
