The Vancouver Lookout is open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week with the last elevator taking guests up at 5:30 pm. Please check our website for any early or special closures.

Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977. Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck. We recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure that the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience. *NOTE: The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing time. Learn about our city from information panels located throughout the deck or follow the complimentary self-guided audio tour. Free Wi-Fi is available.

If you’re in the downtown area looking for something to do it’s very easy to pop up and have a 360 view to get the lay of the land from a different perspective!
The Dominion Building looks down.

I came to see a Gaztown steam clock and stopped by. It was so quiet and surprising. Maybe it was because of the overcast sky, but there were only two groups on the observatory except us. The scenery is so good that if you've seen the Never Ending Story, you'll definitely want to climb it, as it overlooks the Dominion Building from the movie.

Taking the elevator to the viewing area. We were greeted by a staff member who said we could download an audio guide but there is no wifi ??? Apart from this the vista is great with small plaques giving some information on each area.

I would recommend the look out if you like to have a quiet experience and comfortable , because there are few people went there we stayed for 1 hr and enjoyed the peace and quiet surroundings and the beautiful view of all bc city and took pictures and read all the information thankyou!!

Spend money on something else. It was easy to find. Windows appeared dirty. Admission cost should be half of what was charged to get even a slight recommendation. Have been in other lookout towers in big cities with view more interesting. Can see the beauty of Vancouver on bridges and beachfront.

Simple, easy and affordable way to see ALL of what Vancouver offers. The signage helps you identify highlights and to learn some history.

I wanted to get great views of the city from a higher vantage point, and this attraction satisfied my objective. The cost of admission was reasonable, and I got to see three hundred sixty-degree (360°) views of Vancouver. This city had many beautiful skyscrapers, bridges, gardens, and adjacent mountains. It was wise to buy the ticket in advance so that I did not have to waste any time to stand in a line. This whole attraction was indoors, and it did have bathrooms and a gift shop. I enjoyed the glass elevator ride to the top.
