The Vancouver Lookout is open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week with the last elevator taking guests up at 5:30 pm. Please check our website for any early or special closures.

Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977. Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck. We recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure that the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience. *NOTE: The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing time. Learn about our city from information panels located throughout the deck or follow the complimentary self-guided audio tour. Free Wi-Fi is available.

2.00I’ve been to the One World Observatory, Top of the Rock, CN Tower, Calgary Tower, etc. and this one leaves much to be desired. It’s still worth doing for the views, and that is the important part. There’s no outside at all. There’s no coffee shop or place to eat. There’s a gift shop but it’s on the main floor. No video to watch about the history of Vancouver. No glass floor to stand on. In short, nothing else to do once you’re up top other than look at the views. There’s no telescopes either. There’s signs about the history but nothing to show you where the buildings/landmarks are. You’d be forgiven for mixing up Rogers Arena with BC Place if you didn’t already know the structures. There’s a plaque there for Rogers Arena (hockey) but not for the much larger and cooler looking BC Place (soccer, football, concerts, etc.)

5.00Wonderful experience. Google maps doesn't have the right address but I went around the corner and found the entry. It has app to hear the description buildings and surroundings in several languages.

5.00If you’re in the downtown area looking for something to do it’s very easy to pop up and have a 360 view to get the lay of the land from a different perspective!

3.00I came to see a Gaztown steam clock and stopped by. It was so quiet and surprising. Maybe it was because of the overcast sky, but there were only two groups on the observatory except us. The scenery is so good that if you've seen the Never Ending Story, you'll definitely want to climb it, as it overlooks the Dominion Building from the movie.

4.00Taking the elevator to the viewing area. We were greeted by a staff member who said we could download an audio guide but there is no wifi ??? Apart from this the vista is great with small plaques giving some information on each area.

4.00I would recommend the look out if you like to have a quiet experience and comfortable , because there are few people went there we stayed for 1 hr and enjoyed the peace and quiet surroundings and the beautiful view of all bc city and took pictures and read all the information thankyou!!

2.00Spend money on something else. It was easy to find. Windows appeared dirty. Admission cost should be half of what was charged to get even a slight recommendation. Have been in other lookout towers in big cities with view more interesting. Can see the beauty of Vancouver on bridges and beachfront.
