I have been living aboard full time for the past 12 years, sailing the Vancouver waterways for over 45 years. I have raced competitively for 20 of those, have extensive sailing and local knowledge, 12 years experience volunteering as a Coxswain with the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, have my Marine Advance First Aid Certificate and 4 other transport Canada certifications.
I have a passion for being on the water and love to share the experience with travelers from around the world.

English Bay
The Wandering Eye is a beautiful 44 foot Beneteau Sailboat, well equipped for a day on the water. We depart Mosquito Creek at 11:00 am and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax while we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trim the sails and even take the helm. At 2:00pm we'll pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. We offer all kinds of other experiences if your looking for something overnight, something more private or don't see a date that works for your group. Please reach out and well do our best to create a unique and once in a lifetime experience!

5.00Awesome experience! Chris and Michelle were friendly and professional. The sights along the coast line of Vancouver, including North and West were amazing! There were beverages to suit every taste, and treats. It was a glorious way to spend 2+ hours! Highly recommend them and the experience!

5.00Our sailing experience with Plan B Charters in Vancouver was absolutely wonderful! The boat was comfortable, well-kept and offered amazing views of the city, stunning skyline and serene waters. Chris and Michelle were full of good vibes, sharing stories, pointing out hidden gems and making the whole trip safe, relaxing and enjoyable. A special highlight was meeting Frederick the Cat, the most adorable and charming host on board. He made the experience even more memorable and brought so much joy to everyone. 🐾⛵I highly recommend Plan B Charters to anyone looking for a memorable sailing adventure in Vancouver!

5.00What a great experience!! I had always wanted to have a yacht experience so I booked Plan B for me and the girlfriend. There was one other couple on board and we all had a good time. Chris and Michelle were the best hosts and sailors!! You could move about the boat freely and enjoy sitting on the bow with the wind in your face. A shout from the crew to let us know that the gib was coming over so we all laid flat. It was the best, something I’ll never forget. Snacks and drinks were provided too!! Can’t fault that. Highly recommend!

5.00Fantastic afternoon with Chris, Michelle and Frederick the cat. Super knowledgeable about the area and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly group! My 16 year old got to steer! We will definitely be back we will bring more people next time! Highly recommend.

5.00Enjoyable sailing experience with knowledgeable and helpful hosts. We know Vancouver very well, but Plan B cruise was an informative, casual and relaxing activity that we would do again.

5.00Chris and Michal are great hosts and Frederick is the cherry on top. We had such a great time. It was so relaxing just enjoying the time sailing on English Bay taking in the beautiful scenery Vancouver has to offer. Chris even gave my boys a stint on the helm under his watchful eye which made their day! We are already planning to join them again in the future. Thank you!
