We will meet by the entrance of the museum, to skip the waiting line and enter the museum all together.

We will start by going over the Swedish Empire and the war in which Gustav Adolf had the ship commissioned, what was the purpose of the ship? Who was the enemy during these years? Something happened during the construction and the ship sank, what happened? and whose fault was it?

Many years later it was found and salvaged, but this was no easy task. We will go over the engineering project together and show you the maps used in the 19th century to find the location of the ship, and how it was found in the 1950s. Once it was salvaged, a time capsule of the 17th century was opened and many secrets were revealed of how life was back then.

This tour is the perfect choice for the ones who want to get a deep knowledge about everything that happened, in and out of the ship. Come full of questions, because we want to answer all of them!

A wonderful tour and very friendly knowledgeable Gide. Who was good fun and made the experience so memorable. The ship its self was quite incredible and so well preserved.

Really enjoyed this tour. Having a guide made sense of the amazing Vasa as there is so much info. I was surprised how interesting a museum about a boat could be.

The vasa vessel is just stunning....I would highly recommend to get a tour guide as ours, Dante, was very thorough and made the experience special.

Katherine was a wonderful tour guide! She was very knowledgeable, fun to interact with, and made the 2-hour tour feel like a breeze (while absorbing a lot of great info). She opened up about her life journey with regards to how she ended up in Sweden and made us all feel welcome to be our true selves. This is a must-do tour if you're interested in seeing the Vasa Museum!

It was an awesome experience. The tour guide was amazing and we learned quite a bit more than if we had done a self-guided tour.

Our guide Kara was excellent! She knows SO MUCH about history. Aside from Kara being excellent, this tour was just a little too long for us. We aren’t mega history buffs and it was a bit intense - long tour with lots of standing, not a lot of places to sit.
