Please be aware that access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica is subject to Vatican regulations and ceremonies. The Vatican Museums or the Basilica may decide to close these sites on short notice due to official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you access to the Vatican Museums.
It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.
Please note: Michelangelo’s “The Last Judgment” on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel is scheduled for an extraordinary maintenance and conservation intervention starting in January 2026, with scaffolding covering the wall for several months. Although the chapel remains open to visitors, the scaffolding will partially obscure the fresco during this period.
Visitors holding a disability card with more than 75% are entitled to free entrance and do not need to purchase a ticket.

Start your experience by meeting your host or, if included, your expert tour guide, who will provide your skip-the-line tickets and help you access the Vatican Museums. 5.00We had an amazing tour of the Vatican with our guide Alex! Everything was perfectly organized — we entered exactly on time as described, and the meeting point was in a SUPER convenient location, literally 1 minute from the Vatican entrance. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how happy we were with Alex. He was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He told us so many interesting and important things throughout the tour and also answered all of my additional questions with great detail and patience. You can really feel his passion and experience. The whole tour was enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended!!!!
