The Vatican Museums or the Basilica may decide to close these sites on short notice due to official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you access to the Vatican Museums.
Visitors with a certified disability of more than 76% do not require a ticket.
It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.
Please note: Michelangelo’s “The Last Judgment” on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel is scheduled for an extraordinary maintenance and conservation intervention starting in January 2026, with scaffolding covering the wall for several months. Although the chapel remains open to visitors, the scaffolding will partially obscure the fresco during this period.

5.00Fred was a fantastic guide! He was knowledgeable, funny, and focussed us on important pieces with cultural significance and interesting back stories. I recommend getting the combined tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and the Basilica, it is very worth doing the whole thing.

5.00We had an excellent tour. Alex was informative, relaxed , funny and able to answer all questions asked. This was my 2nd time at the Vatican but first with a guide. The guided tour was less overwhelming than going solo with audio.

5.00The tour was great thanks to our tour guide (I think the name was Giulia). Gives a full aspect of the Vatican. Group is not crowded so it is easier to follow and have also a q&a. It is a great experience I strongly recommend to anyone who visits Rome.
