IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to the passing of Pope Francis:
- The Sistine Chapel will be closed to all visitors starting April 28, 2025, until further official notice. Your ticket will still grant you access to the Vatican Museums.
- Starting April 22, 2025, St. Peter’s Basilica will be closed to group visits. However, individual visitors will be allowed entry until April 25, to pay their respects.
- The funeral of Pope Francis will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Square.
- Until further notice, the Basilica will remain open only for individual visits. Group visits are temporarily suspended.

The Vatican Museums or the Basilica may decide to close these sites on short notice due to official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you access to the Vatican Museums.
Visitors with a certified disability of more than 76% do not require a ticket.
It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.

5.00Our tour guides, Fred and Virginia, were both so knowledgeable about the Vatican Museums and Basilica. Because of the conclave we couldn't go to the Sistine Chapel, however, their expertise more than made up it. They provided so much interesting information about these beautiful places.

1.00Your guide was absolutely rubbish 3rd time going brought my daughter, rushed tour with zero effort, short answers was not arsed or didn’t know the information was absolutely desperate, disappointing for price paid really was. Yes absolutely do the tours at the Vatican however do not use this tour operator

5.00Our tour guide Julia was amazing. She was incredibly informative and knowledgeable and seemed like she knew everyone in the Vatican. Her tour was not only informative but she engaged brilliantly with everyone, includingour 2 young children, making everyone feel included as part of the tour group. The tour did seem to end abruptly at the end of the Sistine chapel and we felt a little abandoned to make our way to St Peter’s square and the Basilica, but we managed OK! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone

5.00This tour was really good. The meet point was easy for our taxi to find. Our guide was knowledgeable and gave us time to see things and take pictures. She even walked us to the Holy Door at the basilica. It was a great.
