5.00Such a great tour led by Susanna (from Inside Out) on 10/21. It was a rainy day and she made the extra effort to leave home extremely early knowing it would take her a long time to make it to work to lead the tour. We were so thankful for her effort because she is a fabulous tour guide! Her knowledge and passion were very evident. We learned so much throughout her tour. Way more than our friends who were on a different tour on the very same day. We appreciated her knowledge of the current Pope and his predecessors. In addition to the history of Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, etc. Truly - she led one of our favorite tours! Well done Susanna!
Good oversight and experience of the Vatican museums. The Basilica was amazing to see.

4.00There was a lot packed into this tour, and despite all venues being absolutely jammed, we did get to see a lot during the timeframe. The Vatican museum part of the tour did however feel very rushed, perhaps because we had to get through a lot very quickly, and we had to queue for round 20 minutes to get into the museums initially. I do feel that we therefore skipped over many of the displays, but this was due to the time available and not the guide. The basilica was definitely the highlight for me, and whilst still very busy, this was tackled at a more leisurely pace. Be prepared for lots of walking. Overall good , but not outstanding.

5.00The tour led by Fred was very informative and showed a real knowledge of the museums and artefacts on show, he clearly knows his stuff. He also brought some humour involving the group and posed us questions to get us involved . The three hours passed very quickly. He was able to navigate the group well through the crowds and gained access to the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. He allowed the group opportunity to get refreshments / toilet access.
Rushed tour, could have been better!

3.00The tour guy was so sweet, energetic, and knowledgeable! There is some room for improvement, though :) Firstly, the tour guide’s pace around the museum and Sistine chapel was quite faster than I expected. I didn’t feel like I was absorbing the art, but rather I was just rushing to catch up to the guide so I wouldn’t get lost in the crowd. It’d be ideal if, perhaps, the guide can go slower — even if it makes the tour slightly longer that way. Secondly, although the tour guide was knowledgeable, she rushed through the places so much that she didn’t give in-depth explanations for the most part. This ties back to the previous point! As an improvement mechanism, try to stay a bit longer at certain spots so you cover more information! Thirdly, clearer communication is key! It is true that she mentioned if we wanted to leave, we had to let her know about it, but she did not mention we had to leave the “whisper” speaker with her. Come to think of it now, it is logical that you must return the speaker to her, but you should never assume people know everything (lol!). So, if I was the tour guide, I would repeat the message at least once again at the beginning of the tour :) Lastly, professionalism is important! It was frustrating to hear her talk about how people got lost and all, and she seemed stressed. I get it: I’m also a tour guide so I know that. But I think I and other participants would benefit by not hearing complaints during the tour since it brings the energy down. Bonus point: it would be so much better if all tour guides from this company wore a certain uniform so they are easily spotted amongst the crowds. I’ve noticed all tour guides were wearing whatever clothes they wanted, no specific uniform whatsoever. This makes it hard for anyone to spot a person, even if the tour guide has their flag up. All in all, it was average because I paid so much money for an experience that didn’t fully meet my expectations. I’m sure the company can improve though!

4.00My first visit to The Vatican. Our guide, Ginnie was very engaging and professional. You can tell she loves her job, Rome, the art, history and architecture she shared with us. She worked very hard to check in with the group and keep the group together. We went at a time when it was very crowded. I think I would’ve been a bit overwhelmed with navigating the queues to get inside the Vatican if I were on my own. The tour was scheduled for 2 hours but that does not include the time spent waiting in line. So if you are planning your day, and book the 10-12pm tour, allot yourself maybe an extra hour before you will be able to do your next activity. Also, you might feel rushed. There is no way you can see everything in 2 hours. Manage your expectations that you are getting the highlights. Still worthwhile!

5.00French (micro) guide passionate about the history of Italy and the Vatican. Allows us to travel back in time , with anecdotes about popes , and save time (skip-the-line ticket). Very happy with this visit. we recommend!

5.00Worth every penny! The tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. Even though it was very busy, we hardly had to queue. Quite a bit of walking but it’s worth it. The tour was well time managed too allowing us to take photos. The tour guide meeting point was easy to find which made things stress free. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the Vatican.
