Great experience! We got the tickets the day before visiting Versailles and had no issues. I received the tickets via email within 12 hours of purchasing.

I booked an 11:00 am tour of Versailles. This was confirmed in my email. When I go to show my ticket to the agent to get inside, entry time isn’t until 12:30. Small fine print on the ticket. Why would I think it would be a different time when my email says confirmed for 11am. Even if I did see it before I arrived, I wouldn’t have been able to change anything, and my purchase was already completed, so nothing I could do about this. So frustrating. Complete waste of time. And no one will answer my emails about this.

With the tickets we purchased through Viator for the castle and gardens, we were denied access to the gardens.

Allow extra time to get to Versailles. Trains get canceled and delay. We waited 45 minutes when we were told they leave every 5-10 minutes. Plan to get to the RER-C with ample time. The tour of Versailles was good but a golf cart would have made the gardens much more pleasurable. None of the fountains were on which was unfortunate for the photos. We didn’t get to see the fountain shows. For as much money as they make they should at least have the fountains on a timer so we can experience something rather than photographing metal. It’s HOT inside the palace so bring a battery operated personal fan and pack a snack and plenty of water. We walked around and had a lovely Italian lunch at Tripletta. After you return a lovely boat ride on the Seine was a nice way to finish the day.

Total scam. Purchased tickets with timed entry of 2:30pm. Ticket pdf showed 3pm. Upon arrival at Versailles, was told the pdf had been altered and that the barcode was actually for 5:00pm. Denied entry by Versailles. Total waste of time. Viator support extremely unhelpful. Currently putting through a credit card dispute for this transaction.
