From 1 April to 31 October, the gardens of the Palace feature special Musical and Fountain Shows. Fountain Shows take place on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on Tuesdays in May and June and on national holidays. Please note that the fountains operate according to a set schedule — they do not run continuously throughout the day. On the other days of the week during this period, the gardens host the Musical Gardens, where music is played throughout the groves.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your tour departure time. We have to catch a train to Versailles and we cannot wait for late arrivals.
The tour of Versailles Palace and gardens is 3 hours guided.
You need to add approx. 40 minutes each way to get to and from the palace on the train.
You can cancel your tour up to 24 hours prior to departure and receive a full refund. Please note that refunds are not possible for missed tours.
If you plan to arrive at the meeting point by taxi, please ensure you leave yourselves plenty of time, it can often take a considerable amount of time to find a taxi in Paris!

5.00We had an amazing time and lots of history and knowledge was shared to us by our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable. This location gets very busy and crowded and there is a lot of walking involved. A morning visit is best before all the crowds get there. This is a must do and shouldn't be missed.

5.00Great meeting place near bakery. Marina was helpful and clear about travel information. Our guide Julia was entertaining and informative. I am a retired history teacher and her presentations were perfect. Highly recommended.

5.00Manos guided us from Paris to Versailles when Julie took over. Manos was very clear and concise about the travel arrangements, including helpful tips getting around Paris. Julie took us through the palace and the gardens, guiding us into quieter corners in the rooms and explained about the history and some of the stories of what might have happened there. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend the early tour, to beat the crowds. Thank you Julie for an awesome morning. The rest of the day was spent in Versailles before we made our way back to Paris.

5.00My family and I really enjoyed this tour of Versailles. Our guide for the train, Gerrick, was extremely nice and did a wonderful job of explaining how the tour would work, and how to get back to Paris whenever we were ready to return. At Versailles, he passed us off to another guide, Fanny, who was also lovely. She knew a tremendous amount about the palace and the gardens and did a great job of sharing information with us as we navigated the palace and the gardens (despite there being hundreds of elementary school kids running about on a school trip). I highly recommend this tour if you want an uncomplicated way to get to Versailles and back, and an interesting tour of the property.
