Discover the true beauty of Versailles on this full-day tour from Paris. Meet up at a train station in Paris and board the train to Versailles with your guide. You'll visit an award-winning French Farmers Market with fabulous food stalls. Leisurely cycle around the gorgeous 2,000 acres Royal Domaine of Versailles to see swaying wheat fields and lush green forests. Enjoy a picnic on the soft grass as you look out over a lake with swans in it. Visit two smaller chateaux called the Grand and Petit Trianon. Pet a sheep while you explore Queen Marie-Antoinette's adorable Private Farm village with thatched roof buildings. All Tour participants over the age of 9 years old MUST know how to ride a bike solo.

Children aged 6 months to 4 years old can sit in a child seat on their parents bikes. Infant seats are available if advised at time of booking.

Children aged 5 to 9 years old can: cycle solo, if capable, or on a tandem attachment bike.

Not recommended for travelers who weigh more than 270 pounds or 122 kilos.

Once the royal Palace of France's most famous Kings, the Chateau of Versailles is simply outstanding. We'll make a timed entrance reservation for you and you'll be able to stay inside of the palace for as long as you want at the end of the bike tour.

Opened in the time of King Louis 14th, the Versailles Farmers Market is outstanding! Your guide will give you a market tour to get you familiar with where all the best foods can be found. Then you will have 30 minutes of free time to roam the brimming food stalls and pick up whatever you want to eat for the picnic that will happen later in the day.

Our guide, Arnaud was the highlight of this day. We did this tour in the off season and ended up with a very cold damp day. My kids still enjoyed it and said the learning about the history was their favorite part! I would highly recommend this tour for kids and teens.

Versailles is huge and riding a bicycle from the Palace to the gardens to the Trianon to the Petit Trianon was the way to go! My teenage sons and husband and I got a great lesson in French history from our guide who gave us some fun and spicy insights into the Palace and royals who lived there.
Great. Highly recommend.

The bike trip was fantastic. The guide did a great job sharing his passion for the area. The national park was an especially relaxing and wonderful event.

The pros: Great tour guide, so fun to go to the market first and then have a lovely picnic, small group so we could stay together on the bikes, the grounds are just gorgeous, the tour guide provided interesting information in a fun and educational way. The cons: By the time the biking was over, we were too tired to go into the palace (there was a long line, too), its a long bike ride so you need to be in good shape (I struggled since I hadn't been on a bike in many years), the tour should provide utensils, plates, and sanitary wipes for the picnic.
Highly recommend this bike tour!

So much fun! Everything was well organized and our guide Arnold was personable, knowledgeable and funny. The bikes were in excellent condition. Shopping at the markets, the bike ride, and picnic were our favorite parts of the day. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience. Our guide was a perfect balance of fun, but also very knowledgeable. They was day was broken up nicely into free time and scheduled time. The bikes were easy to ride.
