Discover the true beauty of Versailles on this full-day tour from Paris. Meet up at a train station in Paris and board the train to Versailles with your guide. You'll visit an award-winning French Farmers Market with fabulous food stalls. Leisurely cycle around the gorgeous 2,000 acres Royal Domaine of Versailles to see swaying wheat fields and lush green forests. Enjoy a picnic on the soft grass as you look out over a lake with swans in it. Visit two smaller chateaux called the Grand and Petit Trianon. Pet a sheep while you explore Queen Marie-Antoinette's adorable Private Farm village with thatched roof buildings. All Tour participants over the age of 9 years old MUST know how to ride a bike solo.
Children aged 6 months to 4 years old can sit in a child seat on their parents bikes. Infant seats are available if advised at time of booking.
Children aged 5 to 9 years old can: cycle solo, if capable, or on a tandem attachment bike.
Not recommended for travelers who weigh more than 270 pounds or 122 kilos.

Palace of Versailles
Once the royal Palace of France's most famous Kings, the Chateau of Versailles is simply outstanding. We'll make a timed entrance reservation for you and you'll be able to stay inside of the palace for as long as you want at the end of the bike tour.

Opened in the time of King Louis 14th, the Versailles Farmers Market is outstanding! Your guide will give you a market tour to get you familiar with where all the best foods can be found. Then you will have 30 minutes of free time to roam the brimming food stalls and pick up whatever you want to eat for the picnic that will happen later in the day.

5.00Arnold(like Schwarzenegger, his words) was an awesome guide. His knowledge of the Palace of Versailles and French history was extremely impressive and I learned a lot. He was patient and very entertaining in his talks with the group. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Great tour! My 16 year old daughter says it was one of her favourite parts of our trip to Paris. Arnoud was wonderful and knowledgeable, made the day so simple and enjoyable. Train to Versailles, quick shop for lunch at the market, then an easy bike ride. This tour was definitely a highlight for our group of 5 people.

5.00This was a perfect day! Felt like a kid again, riding a bike around the beautiful grounds. I loved Marie Antoinette's house and gardens even more than the big Palace of Versailles. Special thanks to our tourguide, Thibault. I learned so much! I will never forget this day as long as I live :)

5.00Taylor was our guide and it was a fabulous day. He was very well informed about Versailles and the French Revolution and an all-around kind, deep person. The bike ride was super fun, both through the tiny village of Versailles and also through the massive grounds of Versailles. I can’t imagine walking to see all of the areas of Versailles - its massive and being on bike allowed me to see other parts that are lesser known but almost better than the main chateau. The bonus was a tasting of delicious local treats in the market before visiting Versailles. Unexpected and delightful. It is a long day and you do need to be comfortable on a bike. Very very slight hills and some bumpy cobblestone are to be expected. I felt very safe with Taylor and he made it easy to see Versailles and get on the RER for the first time. Our group was small and friendly so it felt very personal. Note that the Versailles admission and the train ticket are included so this is a bargain.

5.00It’s great fun. I hadn’t been on a bike for many years and coped! Beautiful scenery. Fabulous guide Antoine. Lots of walking so you need to be quite fit. We got to the main palace for 330 you need to allow at least 1 1/2 hours here.
Highly recommend! Great adventure + history!
