Discover the true beauty of Versailles on this full-day tour from Paris. Meet up at a train station in Paris and board the train to Versailles with your guide. You'll visit an award-winning French Farmers Market with fabulous food stalls. Leisurely cycle around the gorgeous 2,000 acres Royal Domaine of Versailles to see swaying wheat fields and lush green forests. Enjoy a picnic on the soft grass as you look out over a lake with swans in it. Visit two smaller chateaux called the Grand and Petit Trianon. Children aged 6 months to 4 years old can sit in a child seat on their parents bikes. Infant seats are available if advised at time of booking.
Children aged 5 to 9 years old can: cycle solo, if capable, or on a tandem attachment bike.
Not recommended for travelers who weigh more than 270 pounds or 122 kilos.

Palace of Versailles
Once the royal Palace of France's most famous Kings, the Chateau of Versailles is simply outstanding. We'll make a timed entrance reservation for you and you'll be able to stay inside of the palace for as long as you want at the end of the bike tour.

Opened in the time of King Louis 14th, the Versailles Farmers Market is outstanding! Your guide will give you a market tour to get you familiar with where all the best foods can be found. Then you will have 30 minutes of free time to roam the brimming food stalls and pick up whatever you want to eat for the picnic that will happen later in the day.

3.00The bikes actually felt like a bit inconvenient. For the tour to be excellent, I would expect the guide to be accompanying for more activities and explaining things, giving insights.

5.00We loved our Versailles bike tour with Arnaud. It was a great combination of adventure and education, in a fun way. We got to see so much more of the grounds than we would have by walking. Arnaud kept it interesting and really knows his way around town. It was fun popping into the markets prior to getting our bikes, too. Once the bike tour ended we went off on our own inside the palace. The Hall of Mirrors is breathtaking. Highly recommend. By the way, we accidentally had the wrong meet-up time in our minds, and luckily someone at the office picked up our call and helped direct us there (by uber) to meet the group in Versailles in time. Thank you to the kind staff!

5.00Our guide, Arnaud was the highlight of this day. We did this tour in the off season and ended up with a very cold damp day. My kids still enjoyed it and said the learning about the history was their favorite part! I would highly recommend this tour for kids and teens.

5.00Versailles is huge and riding a bicycle from the Palace to the gardens to the Trianon to the Petit Trianon was the way to go! My teenage sons and husband and I got a great lesson in French history from our guide who gave us some fun and spicy insights into the Palace and royals who lived there.
Great. Highly recommend.

4.00The pros: Great tour guide, so fun to go to the market first and then have a lovely picnic, small group so we could stay together on the bikes, the grounds are just gorgeous, the tour guide provided interesting information in a fun and educational way. The cons: By the time the biking was over, we were too tired to go into the palace (there was a long line, too), its a long bike ride so you need to be in good shape (I struggled since I hadn't been on a bike in many years), the tour should provide utensils, plates, and sanitary wipes for the picnic.
Highly recommend this bike tour!

5.00So much fun! Everything was well organized and our guide Arnold was personable, knowledgeable and funny. The bikes were in excellent condition. Shopping at the markets, the bike ride, and picnic were our favorite parts of the day. Absolutely recommend!
