5.00Tour is about 90 minutes of walking and standing, so wear comfortable shoes. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and packed lots of great information to our time. The was our second visit to the castle, and we learned more than we do the first time. November was a great time to visit! Much less crowded than our first time.

5.00Our tour guide was wonderful. He knew the history very well and was always willing to answer questions. We had a family there with a large stroller and he was very accommodating. He also used humor, which was lovely.
The history only comes alive by seeing it.

5.00Our guide was very knowledgeable and brought the history to life. The stories of how the palace came to be, life while it was the center of power and then how it played a part in the revolution was fascinating. It was a little tough to move through some of the rooms, they were super crowded. The hall of mirrors was worth with the wait. The gardens are enormous. Only seeing it can give you a true appreciation for what it must have took to build such a place back in the 1600’s.

5.00We loved this tour. Olivia was funny and knowledgeable and was able to offer great insight on the significance and history of each room we were in. We toured the kings’ apartment, queens’ apartment, and a few other important rooms like the Hall of Mirrors before we were able to explore the palace and gardens on our own. It was the perfect amount of time and Olivia was amazing.
