• Lovely excursion to both sides of the falls

  We did the two side Zambia/Zimbabwe Victoria Falls excursion with Cuckoo Safaris and like it a lot! We started in Botswana (Kasane) and were picked up at our hotel by a third-party driver who drove us to the Botswana-Zambian border (10-15 min). At this border were welcomed by a driver of Cuckoo Safaris and we had to switch cars. We first drove through Livingstone to the Zambian side of the falls (60min) where we met Mike, our first local guide. Mike did a great job showing us around. Afterwards we went to the border crossing Zambia/Zimbabwe. Mike joined us over the bridge through immigration, thanks a lot! After the border we were handed over to Simon, the local guide on the side of Zimbabwe. After switching cars again Simon showed us around on the Zimbabwe side of the falls and also did a great job. Both sides of the falls are worth visiting, it is a shame that Zimbabwe charges much more ($50 pp) than Zambia ($20). The Zimbabwe side is more touristic than the Zambian side. After the excursions there was time for lunch and Simon helped us selecting a restaurant. We eventually picked a restaurant at a lodge (Victoria Falls Safari Club) with a watering whole at 5 min drive from the falls, good food and a very nice view, all in all a great recommendation! Simon drove us back to the border Zimbabwe - Botswana (60min). After the border we had to switch cars again and we were driven back to our hotel (15 min). I would recommend this tour. We were never rushed and both guides were really friendly. Thanks again. Only suggestion would be to communicate the practicialities upfront, that it would be clear upfront e.g. that we would have to change cars at each border crossing.

  Just book these guys!! They tailored our trip from beginning to end. We were on our honeymoon and wanted to visit a few locations and take part in a few activities and they made it all happen without a hitch! So highly recommended
