Explore the main town square's, hidden alleyways and streets of Victoria, Gozo on this relaxed walk. All the while, tasting a range of iconic Gozitan food and learning about its emergence and place in the local cuisine. Examples of food tasted are local pastizzi, traditional coffee, Maltese ravioli, rabbit stew and more.
If you’re visiting Gozo, we recommend doing this early in your stay as you’ll get lots of tips to make your time here amazing, plus have the opportunity to make friends and gain local insight.

We will pass through St Francis Square - a social and administrative hub, teeming with activity, before heading down Vajringa Street. Triq Vajringa is one of the oldest roads in Victoria and highlights many Gozitan features such as beautifully adorned doors, the Maltese gallarija or balcony and the National Library. We will enjoy some tasty morsels along the way.
St. George's Square
We will explore the medieval alley ways behind the basilica of Saint George, sharing stories of culture and tradition as we uncover what happens behind closed doors. Eventually we will find our way to the grandeur of the imposing basilica and admire its beauty from the outside, all while enjoying some delicious artisan food and drinks.

5.00I had the chance to participate in two experiments with Taste of Gozo: The Olive Grove Experience and the Food and Culture Walking Tour. These moments were simply unforgettable thanks to our guide Leanne. She is passionate, caring and knows how to convey her love for Gozo with authenticity. Although I don’t speak English very well, Leanne has been able to adapt, slow down, explain differently and put my confidence in myself. She really takes the time for everyone to understand and enjoy the visit. As a vegetarian, I also really appreciated her attention: she always found suitable alternatives. And I can tell you that there are really many things to taste and eat! Leanne is enthusiastic, cultured and incredibly generous in her explanations. It is undoubtedly the best guide I have met. I recommend 100% these experiences to anyone who wants to discover Gozo in an authentic, humane and gourmet way.

5.00My family have just spent the last 9 days in Gozo. We booked with #tasteofgozo at Tah Mikiel Olive Grove in Gharb. It was an incredible experience enjoying food, wine and learning more about Gozo - where our father was born. The back drop of Ta Piniu, the incredible food, wine, liquor and the knowledge of our host Leanne made for one of the highlights of our trip. Ideal for families, corporates and couples. 5.00We were fortunate to book Taste of Gozo tours over 2 mornings. Leanne is very knowledgeable about local history and with Gozotian ancestry we learnt a lot about the lives of our predecessors. Leanne is popular with the locals too who welcomed us into their homes and showcased their talents in cheese making, lace making, salt panning and vegetable growing. Leanne showed us many hidden treasures we didn’t know existed. We highly recommend Taste of Gozo tours to new and frequent visitors of Gozo.

5.00We had a really, really great day, and we would highly recommend joining this tour! Leanne was genuine interested in showing Victoria and lokal food, and she also gave advise of places to visit all over Gozo. We saw many interesting places in Victoria city and the Citadel. And the food; exciting and delicious, we were so filled up that we couldn’t eat everything. She told a lot about the food, but also about the places, history and culture. Leanne has travelled a lot and knows other cultures well and therefore she manage to see and explain her beloved Gozo through international eyes. Thanks a lot, Leanne! We really would recommend this tour! But If you can, skip breakfast before going!

5.00Our guides Leanne and Julie were so knowledgeable about the history, culture and tourist attractions. They were both so very friendly and accommodating…. a real treasure! We ate a lot (not just a small bite) so I recommend you come hungry! It was a great tour to take at the beginning of our stay because we received recommendations on a pamphlet for future reference abut additional places to visit for authentic and traditional food that was helpful for the rest of our stay on Gozo. I was also thankful for the small size of our group because it made it easy to navigate the narrow streets and busy roadways safely. I believe you can also book private bespoke day trips with her at Taste of Gozo dot com.
