This 2-hour tour begins at the Phillips Brewing Tasting Room (2000 Government St) and includes stops at The Gates of Harmonious Interest, Fan Tan Alley, Market Square, Bastion Square, Trounce Alley, Government St., the Inner Harbour, and the Parliament Buildings. There are six local tastings along the route as we discuss the history and quirks of beautiful Victoria, B.C. Tastings vary, but can include Italian meatballs, Korean chicken, southern biscuits, Indonesian spring rolls, tea, chocolate, and much more! Tours operate rain or shine!

Andy is enthusiastic, has great smile, gives a thorough description of food and shop owners whom we can tell he thinks highly of and the feeling is mutual. The food is delicious and varied. This is our second food tour with Andy and we’d do it again!

Our food and history walking tour with Andy was truly unforgettable — hands down the highlight of our entire visit. Andy couldn’t have been more amazing. He’s a genuine wealth of knowledge, blending rich historical insights with fun, engaging storytelling that kept us captivated the whole time. The tour was the perfect mix of delicious food, fascinating local history, and Andy’s warm, energetic personality. He made the experience feel personal and special, and we learned so much while having an absolute blast. We’d 100% do this tour again the next time we’re back — it was that good. Andy’s tour was great! He was engaging and showed us parts of the city that we had not seen yet. I recommend doing the tour early in your trip as Andy gives great food recommendations for the rest of your stay. He also has lots of great tips for the rest of your travel. In addition to the food, he had some really interesting bits of history to share in between tastings.

Andy showed us a great afternoon seeing places we never would have found on our own, tasting foods we wouldn’t have otherwise noticed. Well worth it.

My sister and I had enjoyed an afternoon with Andy. We had great food and even better guidance. Not only did we have a great food experience but Andy was super knowledgeable and we got a great history lesson along the way.

Andy was an awesome tour guide. The food stops were amazing and the local history was very informative. Also, very sensitive to folks with allergies. I would highly recommend this tour if visiting Victoria or if you want to discover new places to eat

An excellent solo activity while my spouse attended a conference. Andy is knowledgeable, friendly, humorous and well organized. He loves his vendors and they love him. Excellent experience- especially half a Pair of Balls.

We highly recommend this tour. Our guide, who is also the proprietor for the tour company took us to some great food locations. He provided some interesting background about the city and the business owners. It was heartwarming to know some of the owners were giving back to the community.

Fantastic tour. There’s lots of great food, many things I have never had before. There’s some culture. The walking tour provides Andy a chance to share parts of the city with his guests. I highly recommend this tour.
