  This was the HIGHLIGHT of our whole trip in Vienna! It was our first time ever seeing a classical performance and my friend and I smiled & cried the whole way through. This band was incredible. FULL of soul, FULL of character. Each and every musician weren't just playing their instruments, they were performing a play. Particularly the flutist! He was just a pleasure to watch. The Opera singer - what a GODDESS. I cannot believe we paid such an incredible price for the performance we were given. AND a HUGE shout out to the beautiful Eva, the Host! You are the BEST Eva! She takes care of all the guests, goes above and beyond to make sure our glasses are full and that we snap that perfect picture! Thank you to everyone in the Strauss House for an unforgettable experience :)))))

  What an impressive lamentation experience in the original Johann Strauss Hall, which has been lovingly renovated using the skills of previous generations and now again offers the perfect setting for the popular ostrich melodies. It is recommended to take a tour of the Strauss Museum on the upper floor beforehand. An interactive exhibition prepared with modern means, giving visitors an overview of the first entertainment music company - the Strauss Empire. Also for connoisseurs and enthusiasts there are valuable original documents - compiled by the great-grandson HR Dr Eduard Strauss - to discover. Worth a visit!

  This was amazing we started in the museum brilliant went to the restaurant the food and wine excellent then a glass of sparkling wine and then the concert smaller hall 11 piece orchestra about an hour amazing we would highly recommend Viv & Chris

  I was invited to this concert. I was all the more pleased because I am a big Strauss fan, who attended the 200th edition of the show. The great composer's birthday traveled to Vienna and wanted to see this concert. And the concert with the House of Strauss Orchestra really put the crown on my stay in Vienna. A feast for all 5 senses. At the beginning I was welcomed with fine sparkling wine, and bought a fan with Strauss' signature in the museum shop. A very impressive concert. Not only did Johann Strauss himself host on the big screen, but the acoustics of the concert hall from 1837 are also very convincing. It is a wonderful feeling to be in such a historic and atmospherically illuminated concert hall. The virtual starry sky creates a very romantic ambience. In addition, a successful mixture of well-known catchy tunes and unjustly lesser-known works. The orchestra is really high-profile, with a very expressive and emotional interpretation. Above all, the soprano moved me to tears with her bright and room-filling voice. The concert is a must not only for Strauss fans and those who want to become one, but really for all visitors to Vienna:innen. I remain forever deeply attached to the person who invited me to this divine concert. PS: The surroundings of the House of Strauss also invite you to stroll through green vineyards and dreamy alleys.

  The ticket time said 7pm and it was wrong. We arrived at 630 pm for the staff member to tell us the show does not start until 830. Very frustrating since we have been traveling all day and who have loved the extra hour. Instead we sat in the museum to kill time. Trip advisor you need to do better.
