Your Vienna food tour starts with a visit to a family-owned bakery in Vienna’s 10th district. From our meeting point of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, we’ll ride the subway over to this very local, multicultural neighborhood.
Here, you’ll sample one of our favorite local treats: krapfen, which is a jam-filled doughnut sprinkled with sugar. These pastries are popular year-round, but especially so leading up to Lent.
Next, take the subway to the 4th district, to visit a little-known coffee house. This place may not be famous, but its Austrian cakes and strudels are absolutely delicious.
Finally, we’ll visit Vienna’s famous Naschmarkt, where we’ll sample some handmade Austrian chocolates before finishing our Vienna tour with a drink at a hipster hangout in the 7th district.
This Vienna food tour varies with the seasons, but some treats you may get on your tour include palatschinken (jam-filled crepes), marillenknödel (apricot dumplings), gugelhupf (bundt cake), and/or Austrian ice cream.

5.00Ended up being just me and my husband on this tour for the night. Our guide was a super lovely guy and took us to some great places we would not have known to try. We had choices on what to order but decided to let him choose since we aren't picky. It is a lot of food so you do not need to eat before. Great experience!

5.00We went on a pastry tour and it was absolutely incredible! Maria was amazing, warm, knowledgeable and so much fun. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. She was so accommodating, lovely, friendly and easy to get along with. Every stop was beyond delicious and full of fascinating stories. She chose the perfect spots and every bite was unforgettable. Truly one of the best experiences we’ve had, we loved every minute of it!

5.00We had an amazing time on our tour with Wolfy. We ended up being the only ones on our tour and they didn't cancel which was amazing. We had so much delicious food, visited amazing authentic restaurants. Wolfy knew all the people which made for a better experience. We would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Okay, so maybe I just missed it in the description of the tour, but I didn't expect to get fed actual food after the cakes and pastries! It was delicious but I would have paced myself better, haha! Maria was great. She took us around Vienna to some great pre-booked spots (yay, no waiting) and shared a bit about the history and culture of the place/food before we dug in. We wandered around Vienna using both foot and public transportation, which was really easy/fun, and she gave great recommendations at the end for other places for drinks/food (including one we took her up on which ended us with a great view of Veinna from an old WWII anti-air tower that has been converted into an aquarium!). Great way to spend the evening!

5.00Maria was an amazing guide. So friendly! The tour definitely has enough sugar to last you a month, but it was so much more than that! We learned about each neighborhood, explored multiple uses of transportation, and had delicious bites from amazing cafes. Would recommend!
