5.00Our tour guide, Sacha, completely understood the brief fully & built the tour around our interests & requirements. She took us around the highlights of central Vienna, taking us through things to just the right level of detail - not too much, nor too little - that we wanted. She was very knowledgeable about key buildings & historic points of interest but also happy to talk to us about living in Vienna, taking us to a great bakery & coffee shop. She also gave some great recommendations for wineries on the edge of the city. Really happy with our tour!

2.00Useless tour. We decided to stop wasting our time after 60min of a three hour tour. We had Tours by Locals before in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Dublin with great success.

2.00Do not book this! The company that organizes this uses locals that have no idea of history, they are sitting on the other side of the globe using residents to organize tours for them and they pay them peanuts! Instead try to find a proper guide, this is a scam.

2.00Our guide was 10 minutes late and left us 5 minutes before the end of the tour with the excuse that he had to pick up a friend from the airport. Most of the walk was easy and we could have done this by ourselves, the guide did not have any historical background, just a foreigner living in the city with basic knowledge.

3.00Our tour was okay, but the local did not really know much about the city. No historical background and not any practical info for visitors. More like a resident in the city that has some favourite places to recommend.

5.00David made us forget we were walking around on a bitterly cold & overcast day - we enjoyed all his stories, his humor, his knowledge & enthusiasm for the history and places of Vienna, the culture and his street food recommendations! We highly recommend booking a private tour with David.
