5.00My adult daughter and I absolutely loved this tour--and that was due in large part to our guide, Bilijana. She did such an excellent job of filling us in on the history of the Hapsburg Dynasty keeping it simple and easy to follow. Her stories and knowledge were interesting and she took us from room to room sharing many fascinating details. This was easily one of our best tours on this trip. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get a handle on the royals of Austria as well as information on Austrian life in general there. It's obvious that Bilijana loves what she does and the tourist is the beneficiary of that! Oh, and plan to stop in the Gloriette Cafe atop the hill behind the gardens if you have time after the tour.

5.00Our guide (Geza) showed us round the gardens and then the main state rooms. Geza was very informative and was very knowledgeable and his English was excellent. It was a very good tour, worth doing and not too long. It was ideal

4.00There isn't much more I can say about the actual palace and gardens—they are AWESOME, and a must-see on your Vienna visit. I purchased the Skip-the-Line Guided Tour with GoodViennaTour via Viator. I was very satisfied with the tour, the price, and the guide (I wish I remembered her name). She was very nice and knowledgeable.

5.00This is a great way to tour the palace and a lot of the grounds. There is a lot of walking from the train station to the entrance of the palace, but there is so much to see and take photos of. Rafaele took us through the palace and the. Through much of the grounds. Then we walked up to the Gloriette on our own. It was easy to take the underground from town to the palace and back to our shop on the Danube.
Not my favorite tour and gardens lacked color.

2.00Nothing wrong with Viator, or the guide either, they were both great. On a Saturday afternoon I would estimate 10000 to 20000 people touring the palace at the same time. Literally packed like cattle, shuffling through inches at a time only to end up in, of course, the gift shop. Skip the castle, visit the beautiful free gardens, take all the free pics of the castle you want from the grounds.

3.00It moves quickly. The garden portion of the tour was nothing more than simply standing at the garden and discussing it, not much more than that.
