You’ll not only taste these local favorites, but also learn how to make them completely from scratch in an intimate home kitchen setting.
From kneading your own baguette dough and pickling vegetables to brewing egg coffee with traditional methods, every step is hands-on and personal. Small groups ensure plenty of interaction with your local host, who shares not just recipes but the cultural stories behind each dish.

Dive into Hanoi's food scene with this immersive Bánh Mì cooking class. You’ll start in a welcoming local home to learn the story of the bánh mì, from its colonial baguette origins to its vibrant Vietnamese evolution. Then, it's hands-on: you’ll knead the dough from scratch, perfectly pickle the vegetables, prepare savory fillings (meat or tofu), and mix the essential sauces.
