  If you’re looking for a truly authentic experience away from the usual tourist crowds, this oyster farm tour in Lăng Cô is a must. We loved heading out onto the lagoon to meet the local farmers and see firsthand how they cultivate their oysters using traditional methods—it felt like a genuine look into their daily lives rather than a staged attraction. The highlight was definitely resting on the floating platform and enjoying the incredibly fresh oysters, especially when grilled with scallion oil and peanuts right there on the water. It’s a fun, unique, and delicious way to spend an afternoon connecting with the local community and enjoying some of the best seafood in Vietnam.

  My husband and I recently had the most amazing experience on the Hai Van Pass and Oyster Tasting tour! We were picked up from our hotel in Da Nang, and spent the first part of the tour driving through the Hai Van Pass. The views were just beautiful, and we made several stops at key points, including at the top of the pass, where we were able to walk up to the small fortress there and take some gorgeous photos of Da Nang and the Lang Co Lagoon. The highlight of the trip for both of us was the visit to the oyster farm - it was wonderful to visit the lagoon, taking a longboat made of wood and old airplane parts, and see the oyster farm with its different sections for each farmer. Our oyster farmer stopped at his section and pulled up oysters for us to taste - which he cleaned and opened right on the boat; delicious! After that, he demonstrated the fishing technique they use on the lagoon, using huge rolling nets and lights and then we went on to have an amazing oyster lunch on the farmer's raised platform in the middle of the quiet lagoon. The farmer's wife prepared the oysters - raw, steamed and grilled - and all were simply delicious. Not only was the food amazing, but our guide, Home, was simply a pleasure to talk with; he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and of Da Nang in particular. We so enjoyed our discussions with him about the culture and history of Vietnam. It was an amazing morning and a fantastic experience!

  Originally booked the tour for just two of us, last minute one of had to pull out but whilst in Vietnam managed to find 3 other people from our tour group that said they would like to do this tour. We had a car pick us up from Hoi An to do the tour. What an excellent day we had. Everything about the tour was simply sensational and all four of us said we would definitely do the tour gain if we ever came back to Hoi An or Da Nang. If you like oysters and amazing scenery, then treat yourselves and book this tour you won’t be disappointed, fantastic day out

  We are from Western Australia and are very outdoorsy and adventurous people. The trip was definitely great for us, the tour guide was very knowledgeable about Vietnam history and all things Asia. Learning the history of the Hai Van Pass was very interesting, also the oyster meal was great to eat, different selections, it was also amazing seeing how the local fishermen catch their fish and grow their oysters, everyone was extremely funny, peaceful and nice to us which made the trip way more enjoyable. Hopefully Vietnam will start using a more greener energy power for factories and transport same goes for other countries as the smog and pollution in the sky was nothing like I have ever seen before same as other Vietnam cities covering the beautiful hills, mountains and valleys so you can’t see the amazing views and nature as well. • Breathtaking, romantic and exclusive!

  We booked this tour for the two of us. An absolutely fantastic tour. First into the mountains. Along the way, the driver/Guide repeatedly stopped to take pictures of a breathtaking view of the bay and Da Nang in the distance. A stop at the top of the old bunkers and on to Lang Co. With a fishing boat to the middle with demonstrations of the fishing nets and oyster farming along the way. Finally we were welcomed in a kind of private restaurant to a meal where we were welcomed on 50 or 60 fresh oysters. Five stars? Not enough. Five for the Guide, five for the driver (the same person that is ten) and another ten for the fishing couple. A trip, once in a lifetime, to remember!

  This is a really amazing tour, I have the chance to immerse myself in the natural landscape. Plus, eating oysters is incredibly delicious. Everybody should try this tour.

  A great trip for couples and I will join this trip when I return to Vietnam. It's great to be part of the closeness of the people here, the scenery is beautiful and everything is so fun.
