The tour to the viewpoint starts at Sverrisgøta 20, Torshavn. The group cycle along the seaside road before climbing up the mountain road, which offers a view over the northern islands, until we reach the mountain pass, Norðadalsskarð, 225m above sea level. From here, the view to the island of Koltur and the village of Norðadal is simply spectacular. The group then makes its way back down towards Torshavn, taking advantage of the view over the southern part of the island. Price incl. rental of a road, gravel bike or an e-bike, helmet, water bottles and an energy bar. Local guide incl. All taxes incl.

5.00It blown too much to cycle to Norðadalsskarð, so instead it was a beautiful sightseeing tour along the water and around Tórshavn. The guide told us about the venues and made sure it was a safe and challenging bike ride.

5.00We had booked the guided E-bike tour "Viewpoint – Norðadalsskarð" at Rent-a-bike in Tórshavn. However, due to the very dense fog during the day, the tour was changed to an exciting tour around – and around – Tórshavn itself. While we were helped well on the way up and down by paths and climbs on our electric bikes, our local-known, and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide was a living lexicon on mountain bike! Despite the change in plans, it was a very successful trip. Some of the places we had already seen earlier during our stay in Tórshavn, and now we got even more knowledge about them, and at the same time got insight into Faroese traditions, nature and history. Our guide’s extensive knowledge made the experience very exciting and enriching. It was a really good way to experience the highlights of Tórshavns. We highly recommend Rent-a-bike for their flexibility, kindness and excellent guide! Inge Marie and Lili

5.00Super cool guided mtb tour on ebike with Bartal, who hit my level perfectly. It was unfortunately very foggy, but then I have to come again😀.
