Villa Escudero
A self-contained working coconut plantation, It was founded in the 1880s by Don Placido Escudero and his wife Dona Claudia Marasigan. Originally planted to sugarcane, the crop was converted to coconut by their son Don Arsenio Escudero in the early 1900s.

4.00The local quide Nori opened up Philippine history book! He's very knowledgeable. And the van driver was very good & kept us safe. Lunch buffet was good with soaked feet in the water, cultural show was very entertaining & the carabao ride was so much fun with the seranade! The museum was interesting & rafting was awesome!

4.00Beautiful grounds. Museum really helped put Filipino culture in perspective. The BBQ buffet was delicious and fun eating under the waterfalls. Wished we were able to see the traditional show. Recommend going on a weekend, to see the show.

4.00This is a wonderfully, relaxing day. My only area of growth for this tour is to allow much more time in the museum with more specific information being shared or a guide that seems really interested in answering what is important to that particular client.
My company guide was excellent, the water buffalo ride is unique, the lunch near the dam is invigorating, and the ability to take photos around the grounds none in museum, unfortunately was excellent. I recommend this for couples or individuals that love vast religious collections.The tour guide was neither very...

1.00The tour guide was neither very friendly nor understanding.
Moreover, I expected to see the coconut plantage and learn something about the history and way of life in ancient days. That was obviously not part of the tour at all. Everything was very very touristic and you have to pay for a lot of things extra (e.g. drinks at lunch). Moreover you are expected to tip the employees at the museum, the musician, the waiters, ... As the tour itself was very expensive, I did not have the feeling that this was appropriate.
The water buffalos were treated awfully bad!
All in all, I would consider it as a waste of time and money and did not feel comfortable during this time at all. Therefore, I do not recommend this tour.
