The Villarrica volcano is located just 20 km from the city of Pucón, considered one of the most active volcanoes in the Andes mountain range, it is undoubtedly one of the best mountain experiences you can have in Chile.
The view that you will have during the ascent is really incredible, however the most fascinating thing is the summit, from where you will be able to observe an open crater with lava inside, lakes, forests and more volcanoes. We will ascend to 2,847 meters above sea level using different mountain techniques that you will learn during the ascent, we will cross the glacier of this imposing volcano using crampons since your safety is our priority on this excursion. 5.00Amazing experience! 10/10 My experience with you was so easy, powerful, and beautiful that I wanted to share these words with you: I climbed Villarrica Volcano with Ryan (my handsome gringo) on November 14, 2025. The weather was perfect, and the group was awesome! I want to thank Claudio, Jorge, Andrés, and Juan for such a fantastic day. The climb wasn't easy, but I felt safe, fully protected, and motivated. 5.00A truly amazing day guided by Jorge & Juan. We so enjoyed the whole experience. A superb ascent with incredible visibility & then such a lot of fun sledging down. 5.00Very good tour and beautiful experience, I did it in February with my pololo and my sister, if you go to pucón it is a must do sometime in your life: the view is beautiful, you go up and you see several of the volcanoes in the area as if they were below one, you really feel like in the clouds, and then reach the crater that is right there meters from one. The trekking itself is heavy, but between the guides and the beautiful group that forms it becomes much more enjoyable everything, then the descent is sliding through the snow, much faster and easier than the climb. The super professional agency, all very friendly and the guides also super friendly and professional, were explaining everything, encouraging and helping with a lot of patience as well, giving tips etc. 100% recommended, whether you are thinking about doing it or not as I was before hiring it, MAKE IT truly an unforgettable sight and experience.

5.00I recommend 100% taking with this operator, the guides Javi and Sebas were attentive at all times and managed to reach the summit of the volcano! With a lot of patience as I was going a little slow being my first mountain climbing experience with snow. Always with words of encouragement, without neglecting the seriousness that requires an activity of this nature. I always felt safe and with your instructions I had no problem handling the professional equipment provided. Since I went alone, I had to join a group and they made it possible. I will be grateful to you forever!

5.00Climbing Villarrica Volcano with Baum Adventure was an unforgettable experience. Communication before the tour was excellent – all questions about weather and equipment were answered quickly. We were fully equipped for the climb, including quality gear and even extra-large hiking boots. Our guides, Javiera and Sebastian, were professional, experienced, and attentive to individual needs, giving clear instructions in both English and Spanish. We felt safe and well-supported throughout the tour. One thing to note: the optional chairlift and the extra costs, which saves about an hour of hiking, wasn’t mentioned beforehand in the description on the website. Despite that, it was a unique adventure and we would definitely book again with this agency! Highly recommend!

Awful. they lost our reservation, were late to pick us up, and pawned us off with another company without telling us.

1.00They were supposed to pick us up at our hotel at 6am. They weren't replying to my messages and 6am came and went while my husband and I were trying to get ahold of them and waiting for them. They finally replied at 6:30am asking for information on our booking because they didn't know we had booked them. I booked them a month in advance. I had prepaid and had a confirmation number and everything. They finally come pick us up after I had to give them proof of my booking even though they should have had that in their system. They dropped us off at what we thought was the company's office. we were rushed to get ready since we were so late and hurried into a van with no instruction. It was all so confusing and chaotic. After the hike, they brought us back to the same office from that morning, and we asked when they would be taking people back to the hotels (The booking said they would pick us up from the hotel and then drop us back off to the hotel at the end of the trip). Only then did the guide inform us that we had been pawned off on different company than the one we booked. Because the company that we booked was full and they lost our reservation, they had no room for us, so they just dropped us with someone else without telling us what was going on. The company we did the hike with told us they wouldn't drop us back off at our hotel because they would rather sit around and drink beers. So, we were stuck in the town with no way to get back to our hotel. The only way we got back to our hotel finally was because one of the guides was sweet and took us back in his own personal car. Do not book with this company. Choose anyone else. I had a very poor experience with this whole excursion. Their communication is very poor, and they don't care what happens to their guests.

5.00We hired the climb of the Vilarrica volcano with Baum Adventures. We were very well received, informed and equipped by the agency's attendants and guides! We spent more time with guide Diego who helped us a lot on the way up and especially on the way down (my wife was afraid of slipping on the snow). Congratulations Baum adventure and Diego!
