Mdina/Rabat:

Sunday (Valletta-Marsaxlokk)
The bus will depart Valletta at 09:30-10:40-12:20-13:20 (Tourist Information Office by the Triton's Fountain)

Fun experience, but you have to stick to the curves!

4.00The trip is a fun experience. But it's hard to figure out departure times. At the stig-on stop there are other times. It was difficult to get in touch with the agent via mobile/sms. Read the message shortly before departure. The trip itself fine. That it was raining, it was unfortunate. The trip can be recommended. However, there should be more clear notice regarding departure times.

5.00We were contacted the day before our booking to see where we would be boarding the bus and at what time. Picked up bang on time. Return from Mdina was much busier. Fun experience. The traffic is heavy and these buses clearly don't have modern suspension etc. Not a problem for us. A great alternative to public transport at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

5.00It was great to see Valletta using Maltese vintage. We booked in advance and were contacted by Mark, asking us the time and location (out of the ones listed). The driver marks off your name, and clearly explains where the pick up and time is. We got the 09:20 from Sliema ferries. We got off at Mdina/Rabat at 10am, and then got back on at 12:25. We got off at Valletta at 12:50 and got back on at 14:50. Arrive in time for your bus, but be prepared that he may run at little later due to heavy traffic. Good value for money.

5.00A great experience on a beautifully restored bus. Very pleasant driver. Get the earlier bus so you have adequate time to look round the stunning town of Mdina. Good choice of bus times and it is only the same price as the normal scheduled bus. Probably a bit quicker as well as there are limited sops on route

5.00Nice ride with a very old bus for a very reasonable price. It is definitely recommended. The return journey only took a very long time because we got stuck in a traffic jam.

5.00Great little trip from il gizra to Mdina. Used messenger to ask questions about the pick up points. They replied very quickly, an added bonus was that I told them where I was staying and there was a bus stop right outside of our hotel. Bus was on time, paid the driver 5 euros per person one way, just something a little different rather than just getting a normal bus
