  This was a really lovely experience and much more comfortable than expected. It was our first time to Malta so it would have been helpful if the driver had called out which stop we were at instead of us having to ask. Overall a good tour

  Waited for 40 minutes at meeting point. A vintage coach turned up but was told that our tickets were not valid for this coach and that we had been scammed

  Great experience. Just pick up on street in St Juliens and did trip to Mdina. Authentic style bus, fare a little more than public bus but worth the ride.

  Booked a ticket in advance waited 50 minutes still no show - tried to contact provider of the tour by phone and text plus Tripadvisor by email - still waiting for any response - really disappointed as was really looking forward to it

  Cancelled our booking last minute with no communication as to why, and then wouldn't respond to me when I was trying to contact them to clarify what was going on. Very disappointed as we were really looking forward to this. Would not recommend at all.

  I booked this for my family. They had a pick up at the Sliema ferry terminal and allege there us another pick up in ST Julian’s. I booked trip and sent email to ask where in st Julian’s would they pick up. They ignored.. I sent another to request further details. The day of my trip I woke up to an email to say, a refund is on its way as per request! I never requested a refund. We ended up going to Mdina by taxi & local bus. Disappointed is an understatement. Hopefully my refund will be with me soon.

  Great experience, its good fun to travel with this vintage bus. It arrived in time, driver super friendly and helpful, though he issued a return ticket without asking if we wanted it. We did not realized it at the time of the purchase, but its 5 eur pp, so not a worry. Also, be mindful that there are several vintage bus trips on offer, and if you are not checking the specific operator you might get confused about the schedules, and exact location of the departure bust stop.

  30 years ago these were the usual means of transport and it was a pleasure to be able to drive such a vintage car to Mdina today. Today it’s a red bus and not yellow anymore, but it doesn’t necessarily take change to not be left like it did then. If necessary, he would also have a credit card reader. In addition, it was very inexpensive - round trip for 5€ - and only a lot faster than then or with today's bus. These have many more stops which are served and that takes time. The chauffeur is very helpful, explains route/s and stops. Tomorrow Sunday we have therefore planned to visit the fish market again with this old bus.
