2.00Our family of four are very active and appreciate nature and history. We booked the VIP Luxury Private Tour- Half Day - 4x4 excursion with Land Rover specifically to explore the Cave of Zeus and hike the Gorge to see the waterfalls and swim in the pools. The assigned excursion guide communicated prior to the excursion to firm up the itinerary for our party. We agreed on the caves, hiking the Gorge and exploring the Palace of Knossos. When our guide arrived to transport us, we were notified that the Land Rover was having mechanical issues, and a replacement guide and different Land Rover would have to take us. Our original guide was very nice and apologetic about the inconvenience. The replace guide arrived 45 minutes later. He too was very nice but wasn't familiar with our itinerary, had only lived in Crete (or Greece) for four years, informed us that the Caves of Zues was not open due to government closure/restoration (for months at this point), the Gorge was too far for a half day excursion and that the waterfalls had dried up so there wasn't much to see anyway. He did his best to accommodate us and come up with alternative options to fill the four hours reserved and paid. The excursion was nothing like advertised. We requested to be returned to the port so that we could fill our time on the cruise ship. Again, both guides were very nice, but this company fell short of delivering what was promised.

5.00We recently did a private tour of Crete with our incredible guide, Michael, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We were a family of five and booked a 4-hour experience—but Michael generously extended it well beyond that, taking us to a few extra spots at no additional charge and making the day feel completely relaxed and unrushed. Our itinerary included breathtaking stops like the Cave of Zeus, the stunning Richtis Gorge, the charming village of Milatos, and the iconic Windmills of Lasithi Plateau. We also explored some lesser-known villages and had the chance to soak in Crete’s authentic character away from the crowds. Michael’s knowledge of the island’s history, mythology, and culture was outstanding. He was warm, engaging, and incredibly accommodating—nothing ever felt too much trouble. To top it all off, he ended the tour by dropping us at a fantastic local lunch spot in Agios Nikolaos, which we’d never have found on our own. This was more than just a sightseeing tour—it was a deep, personal experience of Crete, and Michael made us feel like honoured guests, not just customers. Highly recommend booking this if you’re looking for an enriching, flexible, and memorable day out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best Crete Adventure to Richtis Gorge

5.00We had an amazing guide named George who went above and beyond. He had a clean Jeep, was extremely accommodating and a wealth of information. He hiked with us up Richtis Gorge and then took us to the oldest living Olive tree.. George most definitely made our excursion the best ever and we are very grateful.

5.00Had a very nice trip with Gaetin traveling from Elounda to the Zeus caves. Along the way we stopped at and olive oil factory. The kids loved the trip and conversation with Gaetin was very nice.

5.00Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and opened our eyes to so much about Crete and Cretan life. We’ll come back to Crete again to see more in large part because of this tour. We saw the caves of Zeus and the calming town of Elounda as well as an olive oil making tour.

5.00We had a half day vip tour. We did not know what sighs we wanted to see but told guide what we was interested in and he planned the whole trip for us. We went to some stunning locations, the guide eas extremely knowledgeable. We went to some off the not so commercial historical sights which were amazing as there were no queues. A great day for all of us. Thank you very much!!!
