Salt Pier
The Salt Pyramids of Bonaire can be seen when arriving either by sea or by air, each of those is roughly 50-feet high and contains approximately 10,000 metric tons of 99,6% pure salt. If we drive along the south road, you will notice the different colours of the water, turning into intense pink colour. I'll tell you all about it on our South Tour.

5.00Kirsten is knowledgeable of her island. I came to Bonaire 🇧🇶 for my bday as a quick get away. I went on this tour my actual birthday International Women’s Day. Kirsten has a heart of gold. She took pics with us got us salt from the pier, bought water. I can go on and on. Now I would say she’s a private tour up to 4 ppl but that’s the best bc she creates an intimate experience. Price decent as well.

5.00What a beautiful island and the most wonderful hostess, Josie!! This was a birthday trip for my boyfriend and Josie made it a party, even decorated her Jeep ❤️ We arrived by cruise ship and from start to finish this island tour was dreamy. We saw wild goats, donkeys and of course flamingos 🦩 Not only was the tour fantastic but they even made us dinner reservations to finish off the day. Ultimately we couldn’t have asked for more and can’t wait to return and explore the north side of Bonaire!

5.00What a great trip! I would Definitely recommend to explore Bonaire beautiful island so much history and Kirsten is so knowledgeable. Driving in her comfortable car and be able to stop if we saw something worth taking a picture is priceless!

5.00This tour was fantastic. The personal touch Kirsten gives it I have never experienced before. It's really a private tour in a luxury SUV. If I wanted to stop somewhere to take pictures, that was no problem. The stories she told were also great. She knows a lot about the history, salt production and culture on the island. Overall a very successful tour. Next time I will also do the north tour at Private Guided Tours Bonaire.

5.00Fantastic private South Tour – a must-do on Bonaire! Our private South Tour with Kirsten from Private Guided Tours Bonaire was an unforgettable experience! We explored the impressive southern part of Bonaire, with stops at the salt pans, the slave houses and the breathtaking rugged coastline. Kirsten shared fascinating stories and interesting facts about the nature, history and culture of the island. It was wonderful to travel at a relaxed pace, without crowds and fully tailored to our wishes. The flamingos at Lac Bai were a beautiful sight, and the rugged coast near the east side of the island was truly spectacular. An absolute must if you really want to experience Bonaire!

5.00On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Kirsten picked us up for a tour of the southern part of Bonaire. We first went to Sorobon, where it was very quiet because of the reversal (no wind) and not a surfer in sight. Normally very colored by all the sails of the surfers! They were setting up tents all along the beaches. Easter weekend there is always free camping and partying. Along the way we encountered Wara Wara (birds of prey), pelicans, donkeys, herons, agave, aloe Vera, cactus wall, salt pans, goats and slave houses. We also learned a bit of history about Bonaire. 5.00Marco gave us the best tour of Bonaire. He was on time, so knowledgeable. He truly loves Bonaire and shared so much of the history and traditions on the island with us. He was able to show us the flamingoes, donkeys and goats that roam free on the island. Marco answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend Marco for any tour !!

5.00Marco excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide/driver in comfortable SUV. Was really an ecology emphasized tour because of Bonaire’s topography Marco knew his stuff. Definitely recommend. Just don’t be like some people we saw invading the off limits flamingo sanctuary but I guess there are always some rude and selfish people who travel. Good tour with most pleasant guide. Ask for Marco
