Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Please note we will either start with the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on the time of tickets we can purchase
Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tours are discounted on these days.
Please be aware that we offer two Arena tour packages: The VIP Colosseum - Arena Access option grants entry to the Colosseum, Arena floor, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. The Arena, Roman Forum & Palatine option provides access to the Arena floor via an exclusive entrance and continues with visits to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Arena, Roman Forum& Palatine option does not visit the Colosseum, it access to Arena floor only.
Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

1.00Ivana was our guide. One of my Life long dreams was to tour the colosseum. Tour started off alright, once we got in and through security, our guide took 15 minutes to talk about the drones over St. Peter’s basilica from a few days earlier. Then had to sit around and wait for her to find pictures and videos of the drones flying. After that the tour inside the colosseum felt very rushed. Tour guide did not stop much for any of the artifacts or time to look and the information. Half way through the tour the communication devices stopped working and the tour guide didn’t know how to fix any of them. The tour went on for the next hour and a half with the guide walking in front talking and only the people right next to her could hear anything she was saying. The guide was nice and knowledgeable, however as a once in a lifetime experience for us, I felt like it was a get in and out as quick as possible tour. I would have rather took the 15 minutes used to talk about the party the tour guide attended to actually look at and read about the artifacts and designs that we skipped through. I also wished that when the guide had technical issues she could have at least called someone to help instead of just continuing on after not fixing the radio. There was no radio for the entirety of the Palestine hills and also for the Roman Forum. But at least she rushed us through so she could get to her next tour that started in 20 minutes that she mentioned a few times.

5.00Our guide Paulo was AMAZING!! So knowledgeable about the history of Rome and was more than happy passing that knowledge on. I would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing plenty of water.
