A town located about 65 km from Cape Town in the Western Cape Province. This town is along the N2 freeway and is the commercial centre of Elgin Valley. The original inhabitants of the area are the Khoikhoi pastoralists and the San Hunter gatherers.

This is a huge lush area of land surrounded by mountains in the Overberg region of the Western Cape province. This area is 70 km southeast of Cape Town, just beyond the Hottentots-Holland Mountains. 5.00It was a great experience going to cape agulus and watching the two oceans meeting the Indian and Atlantic Ocean. With the help of Reemy it took us two hours from Cape Town and he was great guide and very trust worthy.
