Hassan II Mosque
The Hassan-II mosque is a mosque located in Casablanca. Built partly on the sea, it is a religious and cultural complex, spread over nine hectares and includes a prayer room, an ablution room, baths, a Koranic school, a library, a museum, and an Academy of Arts traditional.
Rick's Café is a restaurant, bar and café located in the city of Casablanca, Morocco. Opened in 2004, it was designed to recreate the bar from the film Casablanca, released in 1942.

Beware if cruise ship can't dock

1.00Due to a container ship spillage at the port of Morocco just prior to the arrival of the Sapphire Princess, we were unable to dock. The port was closed to all ship traffic in and out. Even though Viator claims a "worry free guarantee" just for these situations, I was denied a refund from their tour operator as they had less than 24 hrs notice. This has been an ongoing battle with Viator who only seems to generate simple standard denial refund letters. In researching online, this seems to be the normal for Viator. While I have had great experiences with Viator in the past as well as on this particular cruise, this has made me realize that their guarantee is worthless once the actual time happens to need that guarantee. I had notified both the tour operator and Viator at 630 am to inform them of the situation. Apparently this did nothing, as the tour driver contacted me at 820 am to confirm pickup. He said "he was never briefed". The tour company that Viator hired has never had the decency to reply to my emails or texts. I blame Viator for not vetting these vendors properly in the first place. I was able to obtain a partial refund from Viator, but they refuse to refund the other two thirds of my payment. I have since begun a dispute with my credit card company for the refund balance. No where in my receipts from Viator or the tour company does it state I am responsible for this situation. Viator has never shown me exactly where I am wrong. Viator said the offer "worry free guarantee " for these and other situations.

4.00We did a private tour for 2 couples. Nice clean and roomy Mercedes van. Mohammed, our guide, was friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well and clear. He took us to the highlights and provided good clear instructions at each stop and provided good context throughout the trip

5.00Achraf was an excellent guide. He showed me the sights of Casablanca and took me to a gorgeous riad for lunch. He was kind, protective, and knowledgeable. It was like traveling with a friend. Highly recommend!

5.00We very much enjoyed our tour today seeing the Hassan II Mosque and touring the interior, a very unique building with amazing architecture. We also saw the Sacred Heart and Notre Dame Church’s on our tour. There were several other stops too before making it back to our hotel. The Driver was fantastic and knowledgeable but kept our comfort and security a priority. He knew his way around the city so we didn’t waste anytime getting caught up in traffic or other delays.
