5.00We had a beautiful, minimally crowded, surprisingly sunny day to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum, taking about 6.5 hours including some time for lunch in between locations. Ada is someone who obviously loves her job & has a very deep knowledge of both locations, which she shared with us with both reverence & humor. We learned so much about Roman daily life, culture and politics of 79 AD. Ada was receptive to our questions and adapted the time we had to fit our interests, since you cannot possibly see everything. It is a lot of walking, with uneven pavements so take that into account. We were glad we saw both Pompeii and Herculaneum, as each had a different story to tell in the way that the tragedy unfolded. Having a personal guide really brought the experience to life in a way that I do not think would have happened with an audio or self-guided tour. Since we traveled so far & waited so long to see these sights, it was definitely worth the price. And we can't imagine a better guide than Ada.

5.00Ada is an excellent guide, through her we traveled through time to better understand the daily lives of the inhabitants of Herculaneum before the disaster that froze them in their daily lives. With 2 children it was not a foregone conclusion, but Ada was able to captivate them and adapt her presentation to be as pleasant for young and old. In short, if you are looking for a Francophone guide (in excellent French, Ada is an Italian who studied in Caen) to accompany you on a historical family excursion, do not hesitate, you have found.

5.00After an exciting and lively experience in Pompeii with Ada, we asked her to accompany us to Herculaneum. Our children (8 and 13) did not want to go without her! Ada is a passionate and exciting guide, very pedagogical and erudite. It was a timeless moment with her, which no paper or audio guide could have given us. Thank you so much Ada!!!

5.00Vistier Herculaneum is a must and doing it with Ada's explanations is even better! In very good French and with passion, Ada told us the details of daily life at the time. This visit is definitely worthwhile as it helps to better understand the context. Ada is a very nice guide that we recommend without hesitation.

5.00First a nice meeting with Ada. A Guide to the history of ancient Rome, inexhaustible on this period of history. She knows how to make visiting Herculaneum extremely interesting and alive. We're not bored, we don't see the two and a half hours of visiting. We will come back to visit Pompei with her. I highly recommend it.
