Oil tasting course
Lid + glass of wine
The activity consists of: 1. Visit an olive grove of more than 300 years. Do you want to meet an olive grove? Walk through centuries-old olive groves where we will show you what an olive tree is, how they arrived in the Iberian Peninsula and its importance throughout history. And not only can you visit an organic olive grove, also discover all the work that is done during the year to ensure you get a quality EVOO, with special attention to our cornicabra variety. 2. Oil tasting course: The best way to learn to differentiate the qualities of olive oils and understand why each one is produced. You can taste different samples and we will solve doubts such as: Why are oils that itch or bitter more than others? What information should I look for tag? Does color matter? What does acidity imply? 3. Cap + Wine glass After taking a walk and taking the tasting course, take a break and enjoy a cap of Manchego cured sheep cheese made by family and own livestock, accompanied by bread with tomato and oil. The lid is served accompanied by a glass of wine made from grapes of our property.

Laura and her husband were amazing hosts and run an incredible olive farm! We had such a great time, tasted their fabulous olive oil and fresh almonds. A bonus was also tasting their unique wine also produced from their vines. So much fun. Highly recommend.

We met Lola, a biologist, and had a very detailed and informative tour of their olive grove. She was happy that there had been a lot of rain for a good harvest in the fall. The wildflowers had burst into bloom and it was a beautiful day in the countryside. We tasted different grades of olive oil and left knowing how to read labels at the grocery store. We also sampled their wine and local cheese. An overall wonderful experience! The reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that we did not get the address for a meeting point. We plugged the address we were given from TripAdvisor for the booking into maps and had a bit of an off road adventure! Lola called us, though, and texted the meeting point address and all was well.

This was one of the best experiences that I had during my recent visit to Madrid! William and Laura are absolutely incredible. They give you a hands on experience to enjoy the centeries old olive grove that they do such an incredible job taking care of! Their passion for organic farming and creating a quality product is evident in all that they do! They were so kind and provided an educational, yet truly enjoyable experience that anyone would enjoy! It felt like you were walking through the garden with an old friend who wanted to show you what they've been up to since you've seen them last! I would (and have) suggested this to everyone that I know!

The tour was an incredible look into Spanish olive oil production and specifically what it takes to grow olives organically while promoting biodiversity. Laura, our tour guide, is a farmer but also a biologist. She was a delight. The tasting was fun for the 4 of us - including 2 teenagers - as was the bread, manchego, fresh tomato and wine. In terms of the ease of the tour, there was not a lot of walking. We were out in the orchard the whole time but were in the shade for almost the whole time. One thing to note is that there is no bathroom on the site. They are planning on putting one in. Really this was well worth the time, the drive and the cost of the tickets. We all loved it…and again we were with two teenagers, so that is saying something!

This activity was fantastique we got to meet Laura the owner of the grove. Her knowleadge was well transmitted as we began the tour and the tasting of the different olive oils, we discovered what olive oil should taste like. It was top off with à small taste of there oil and wine, completed by cheese and bread of the région. What a pleasure it was for all of us to learn all about the grove and the region. We highly recommended this tour..

This is a must for anyone who loves olive oil and local food and is visiting the Madrid-Toledo area. Guillermo met us in town and led us to the olive grove with trees over 300 years old! He told us about his family's olive growing history, how he naturally takes care of the trees and the land, and why they produce such wonderful olives and olive oil. He patiently answered all of our questions, too. Because it was so windy we didn't do our tasting in the grove, but went back to their office in town. Laura first explained to us how they press their olive oil, and what you should look for when purchasing olive oil to make sure you're getting a quality product. The taste test was a lot of fun, as she guided us through what to look for in the smell and taste, and the differences were very noticeable. Then we had a wonderful lunch of olive oil, tapas from local food products and local wine. It was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough..

Laura and her husband own this olive grove. Laura led a very interesting tour, teaching us about the history of their farm and the organic methods of growing and harvesting olives. This was followed by a fabulous olive oil tasting, where Laura taught us how to differentiate between types of olive oils. We finished off with wine, bread and cheese. This was a really unique experience and even my kids (12 & 15) enjoyed it. It is clear Laura and Guillermo are devoted to what they do and work incredibly hard.

In September 2017 (two years ago) we visited with a group of colleagues the olive grove. We got a tour, an explanation, a tasting and the most amazing lunch between the olive trees in the olive grove. Laura and Guillermo are very friendly, authentic: just wonderful. They also suggested a tourbus company that fit right into our budget, so communication and service was great to. Now, after two (2) years, people still have very warm memories to this day. Thank you for the experience! We will never drink "lampante" again. P.s. the olive oil we ordered was delivered fine, in time and also very delicious.

I do not enjoy these things... You tell me we are visiting an olive farm in the middle of nowhere in a massive heat wave... NO WAY!! But, I got outvoted, and I am so glad I did... It was truly a fantastic time. Go there, taste the oil, see the sights, meet the wonderful people that run it... One of the best memories me and my family will have of our visit to Spain.

A beautiful young couple are the proud farmers in this hundred(s) of years old olive oil grove. You will tour the grove and hear all about cultivating and harvesting olives. It was very hot and dry when we went, but we were given water and straw hats. The information was so interesting (and for us, in English!) that the hour passed quickly. The tapas lunch was delicious (vegetarian option is offered) and the tasting was an awesome opportunity to actually see and taste the difference in oils. This took place in a large, cool refurbished hen house. Atmosphere was bright, clean, and inviting (clean, nice bathrooms too!), the tour itself was very informative and engaging, and Laura & Guillermo were so gracious and welcoming. A distinctly Spanish experience for sure!
